I ended up returning an ASUS router for this thing. I am so much happier. It actually stays connected and the speeds are better than anything else I’ve used before! I don’t believe I have any WiFi 7 devices at the moment but I do have a few WiFi 6E devices and it is quite fast connecting to the 6ghz with limited compatibility, I’m definitely impressed. Also over a wire I was nearly maxing out my 2.5 gig connection to the internet at about 2300mbps up and down. It’s honestly pretty dang cool. This router is definitely the way to go if you’ve got a fiber connection above 1gig. The mobile app makes it pretty easy to initially setup although it’s got limited options when it comes to settings. The web interface does open up several more options which is great. It is more limited in terms of options compared to the ASUS routers I’ve used over the past several years but this actually works so I’m not going to complain! Overall a solid router choice I personally find it to be worth the money and if you can pick it up on sale great!

I got this router to replace a Tp-Link AX6000 router that has served me very well until recently it became a little less stable with some newer devices. I also upgraded my connection to 2gig fiber and needed something that was a little more capable. So far, setting this router up to my exact liking has been really easy. You can use it with the set up out of the box or control pretty much everything that anyone would ever need to adjust on their router. The speed is great, this unit has no issue connecting to devices at the fastest connection they are capable of without adjusting anything outside of using the MLO feature. I see full speed of my Internet connection over WiFi. And very stable as well. As for signal and range, the signal is better than the AX6000 it replaced. Not leaps and bounds but definitely better. Speeds at the worst parts of the house are double what they were before but not seeing over 700-800mbps. Which is not slow at all and about double what I saw before. As for technology this thing has everything I personally need for my aging and brand new tech devices and future items as well. The parental controls work well for what I need. Being able to isolate iot devices and create a separate network for them specifically is really nice. I like the added security. This review is based on my immediate experience. And is subject to being updated with any issues I may or may not have in the future.

Got this router on Black Friday for upcoming fiber installation as it's one of the more "future proofed" wifi 7 routers. Almost no devices/services can even take advantage of the full spec speeds offered by both my ISP and this router, however, it's still awesome to max out anything I come across for downloads/uploads. Setup super easy, using both app/IP address login. I do find the screen mostly unnecessary, as I have the router mostly hidden so I turned it off but time/weather could be useful for some.

Picked up one of these in July 2023, so only had it running for a couple of days. At this point, I like it. It's replacing an older Netgear RAX 70 which was a solid performer, but never quite delivered the network speeds I wanted. I've used Netgear devices for years, but there were 3 features that made me want to try this TP link router - The promise of Wi-Fi 7, a 10Gb WAN port, and using Easy Mesh. For me, set up was easy - plugged in and connected, downloaded the TP link app (Tether I think t's called) and everything was working. Whole thing took no more than 5 minutes, and a lot of that was trying to find a spare socket to plug in to.... Speeds are great, and on my latest devices (with Wi-Fi 6E radios) I'm getting Gb+ transfer rates within maybe 20 feet of the router. I have a 1.2 Gb line into the house, and this is close to double what I was seeing with prior router. A critical thing for potential users to be aware of is that if your devices don't have at least 6E radios, they won't see the fastest network bands and you'll effectively have just a pretty decent wifi6 connection. There are a lot of wifi6 routers from big brands for much less money than this, might be a better option if you are using older phones / tablets / computers (pre: late 2022 maybe...?). I haven't tried Easy Mesh yet...waiting to see how coverage maps out with this router, but I think I still have one low coverage area that will need to be boosted. Wifi7 isn't out yet, so I assume we'll get a firmware update to enable it at some point. Excited to see what changes that will bring. Overall, based on a whopping couple of days of usage, I'm loving the BE800. Makes me feel like I'm finally getting the connection speeds that I pay for. In reality though, until WiFi7 is finalized, this is just functioning as a great WiFi6E device. If you have computers / phones that can take advantage of that, it's awesome, if you don't then maybe a lower spec and cheaper router is a better option. In my house, devices that could access the fastest band - Pixel 7, Surface Pro 9, MacBook Pro 2023. Things that could not - iPhone 12PM, 2023 iPad Air, 2021 PC with AX1650i Wi-Fi Card, lots of IoT devices, Apple TV 4k (around 3-4 years old).

The wi-fi signal in our house was starting to intermittently cut out. A search for a solution suggested a new router might be the answer. Ours was at least 10 years old so that seemed logical. This TP-Link AC1900 Smart WiFi Router was highly rated and at a great price so I decided to try it. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. We had the router installed and all our devices updated in about 15 minutes. That's pretty good since neither of us is tech savvy. We noticed a difference immediately. Not only have we not had any interruptions in the signal to any of the devices, but the speed at which things download seems to have increased. Great price, easy to set up, and much better signal. This was a win for us.
