My laptop is Dell Latitude 5590 with Windows 11 Pro. Wanted to use this adapter to replace the broken internal WiFi card. It's supposed plug and play. Much to my disappointment, the laptop could not recognize it. Downloaded driver from TP-Link (my laptop doesn’t have an CD drive which could use the accompanying CD) and did not make it work either. Decided to give it a final try before returning it. Voila! It worked. Windows showed that it worked with 5 GHz public network. Speedtest.net showed excellent performance.

This TP-Link Nano USB WiFi Adapter definitely works with older MacBook Pro Laptops. My onboard WiFi failed on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro with MacOS High Sierra version 13.10.6, so I bought and installed this USB WiFi Adapter. Note that you will need to download the correct Apple driver for it. This is easily done, just google and go to the TP-Link website and the (free) driver download is available there. Once I installed the Driver the setup was basically automatic. It's fairly fast considering how small its antenna must be. I am getting download speeds up to 30 Mbps and upload speeds up to 15 Mbps when close to the router, and about 6Mbps downloads and 1.5 Mbps uploads when on the other side of the house. Note that I do not have an extremely fast Cable Internet package from my Service Provider. On my workstation computer attached to the router via Ethernet cable I am currently getting 93 and 24 Mbps downloads and uploads respectively.

I got this for a recent build of an HP Elite 8300 SFF. I'm running Windows 7 on it so I can run Windows Media Center and record and play back OTA TV. The colorful pictures in the listing state that this can run at 400 Mbs on 2.4 Ghz. If you scroll down to the bottom there is a disclaimer that it can only run about 200 Mbs in that configuration. Speed tests I have run bear this lower number out. But, I only pay for 300 Mbs internet speed (Xfinity) and that's more than enough for my purposes. I'm amazed that TP can build such complex electronics into this tiny package. B.T.W. I tried the Web site but the drivers there would not work for me. Fortunately, the CD they supplied had the correct drivers. Getting modern drivers for Windows 7 can be a challenge because no one supports it anymore, but mine works fine with this adapter. My HP is able to stream and record / playback live TV via WiFi when I'm using a Silicon Dusk HD Homerun tuner and running Windows Media Center.

My Dell desktop was always connected to my router with an Ethernet cable, but a recent move now requires that I use Wi-Fi instead. I don’t typically expect computer accessories to work easily and without installation and configuration challenges, but this tiny gem is worth its weight in gold. I plugged it into an open USB port on my desktop, and within seconds, it configured itself and worked flawlessly. Although it comes with a CD containing drivers, I never needed to use it— the device was recognized and installed by Windows instantly. I can’t remember the last time I was this impressed by any electronic product’s design, utility, and ease-of-use. Bravo, TP-Link!!!!

It took a while of comparing all the various USB wifi adapters and finally chose this one. Setup was easy. I normally play multiplayer games with friends (overwatch 2, lethal company, etc) while chatting in discord. Normally, when connected via ethernet to my pc, My ping in overwatch is around 30MS. with this adapter, i hovered around 80MS. Not bad at all! My personal preference would be to use my ethernet connection if i ever wanted to queue ranked, but for casual play with friends it's amazing!

The wifi immediately started when I plugged it in but it was awfully slow (0.74 Mbps), I later realized I needed to download a driver for it to work properly and I gave it a second and now its running at around 34 Mbps

Laptop WiFi was dying so ordered this and Insalled in a USB port and now the laptop WiFi signal is better than it ever was. Great value for the $$ and saved having to get a new laptop for just the WiFi.

Tiny little beast so make sure its facing your router . I used mine on an older Dell XPS and got 30mbs which is roughly what I expected but got 12 mbs on a cheaper wireless adapter. Overall .. I'd buy another one .. Yes

Te gonuna computadora Vaio del 2007 aún funciona pero ahora que la actualice a Win10 perdía la conexión del wifi y ni actualizando controladores funcionó, aunado a una conexión no muy rápida, con esta aparatito la conexión es estable y carga bastante rápido, la verdad lo recomiendo mucho si quieren revivir equipos viejos o pc que no tengan una tarjeta de red. 5 de 5.
