Great little home security camera. Pictures and videos are excellent. Easy to setup. App is pretty good. Object/motion detection is decent. One quibble - when camera is patrol mode motion/object detection, is turned off. Patrolling stops after a couple sweeps. This makes patrolling not very useful except on an ad hoc basis. Night videos are surprisingly good. I have not tested voice integration or cloud storage.. I'll update the review if/when I test these.

I’ll be writing this on all the Tapo cameras I’ve recently purchased. (4x C110, 2x C210, 2x C520WS) These are flawless, amazing, and so far ahead of Wyze it’s not even funny. They are massively affordable, truly need no subscription, have fantastic features in their app, can record locally to an SD card; everything you would want. Coming from Wyze (see more below), I didn’t know that cameras were supposed to act like this. I assumed, at Wyze prices, that I was getting what I paid for. But when I finally had enough constant stress and spent the money to change to Tapo… my life has been changed. Seriously, I probably added years to my life not being so stressed out all the time because my cameras never, ever worked right. These do, and I cannot say it enough times… if you’re currently using Wyze then get one of these. Use it for a week side-by-side and tell me what you think. Super light, have a few of mine mounted with ‘hard plastic velcro’ (3M Dual Lock). Setup is fast and easy, and works right away. Don’t have to do it over and over again (Wyze). Clarity is superb - 1440p quality. Night vision is phenomenal. Don’t really care about ‘color’ night vision - but my outdoor ones do have it. And one of the best parts is Tapo is part of TP-Link. What does that mean? TP-Link has been around for a very long time, and they specialize in networking equipment, LoL. So yeah, if you want a reliable camera on your network, who better to trust than a networking company. TLDR: Don’t waste your time on any other brand. Buy these. I promise you won’t regret it. About Wyze: If you’re like me and never wanted to spend thousands on home monitoring and security, then you may have stumbled upon Wyze cameras. At first, they were amazing - very affordable with no subscription necessary. And they worked. Over time, that changed drastically as they ventured into making everything else on the planet instead of focusing on their roots (cameras). They funded that stuff by changing to a subscription policy. And in their haste had multiple security breaches and problems such as other people viewing cameras that aren’t theirs. This is of course while the software and hardware has become so incredibly bad that they’re unusable. I mean, they actually do not function 92% of the time. Whether it’s freezing, not connecting, stuttering so bad that it looks like a PowerPoint presentation, app for closing, etc.

The Tapo Camera is excellent in terms of build quality and features. The video resolution is clear and detailed, and the pan/tilt function works smoothly, making it perfect for monitoring pets or as a baby monitor. Motion detection and tracking are reliable, and the two-way audio is clear on both ends. I also appreciate the flexibility of cloud and SD card storage options, and integration with Alexa and Google Home is seamless. My only complaint is the app’s responsiveness—it’s quite slow at times. Navigating menus, accessing the live feed, or adjusting settings can be frustratingly laggy, especially when you’re in a hurry. If TP-Link improves the app’s speed, this would be a five-star product without question. Despite that, it’s still a solid camera with great functionality.

I’ve been using the TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt Security Camera as a baby monitor, and overall, it’s a fantastic product. The picture quality is clear, both during the day and at night, and the pan/tilt function lets me see the whole room easily. It’s quick and simple to set up through the app, and I love that I can check on my baby from anywhere. The motion detection works well and sends timely notifications, which is a huge plus for peace of mind. I also use it as a pet camera, and it’s been reliable for keeping an eye on my dog during the day. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the slight delay in loading the live view at times, but it’s not a huge issue. For the price, it’s a fantastic option with plenty of features that work smoothly. Highly recommend for parents or pet owners looking for a solid, budget-friendly camera!

Play Video You’ll need the micro SD cards for memory purposes, the camera will format them for you 😌 Video and audio quality is top tier for the price, the Tapo app is stable and functions well. Day and night vision is crisp. The app walks you through the set up, took me 10 mins for 2 cameras (5 of those mins was finding a power strip for one of those) The motion detection is amazing, although I turned it off. I like to PTZ manually but the motion detection works well. They are small, easy to slip on a book shelf or in a corner. The connection cord is longgggggg, no issues there. Overall I would buy these again AND I’d suggest them to anyone I know.

We love it. We can check in on our babies while they’re sleep without disturbing them. Can talk to them. The picture quality is nice. Inexpensive & set up was super easy & quick. We bought a sd card to go with it. Also the size wasn’t super big but we like the overall design. The pan on it is almost 360 so we can see the whole room. It has options to set a record schedule hour by hour daily. You can also set it to record when motion detected. The night vision is cool too! Thanks!!

Great camera...got it for my parents for $12 after promotions & Amazon's black friday sale. They love how it pans and tilts and I just put it in the living room window which sees everything outside. The app was easy for me to setup for them because we already have a Tapo camera. The care plan is cheap at about $3 a month but I got mine for $34 a year because I know I'll use it. Still cheaper than most brands and I've never heard of this brand, but I love the quality of it. This brand is highly recommended!

I’m amazed by Amazon’s delivery! Given the local weather conditions, I wasn’t sure it would arrive on time, but it did! The setup took me just a few minutes, and the Pan/Tilt feature works flawlessly. The video quality is clear, and the price is definitely worth the functionality it offers. If you're in the market for an affordable yet reliable home security camera, this is an excellent option!

Me gustó mucho la cámara, en general es bastante buena por su precio y muy fácil de configurar con la app para el celular. También tiene muy buena resolución.
