It came in good condition. It works for my home and was easy to integrate. The settings are easy to learn, and it didn't give me any issues. It helped fix the issue I was having with the modem my internet provider gave us.

Replaced my 6 year old Airport Time Capsule wireless network due to failing wifi radios. Turned the wireless option off, hooked up my new AX1800 to my Time Capsule router port and the magic came back. I am getting in excess of 200 mbps on the 5 GHz channel and 40 mbps on the 2.4 GHz channel. Never saw this speed on the 5 GHz with the Time Capsule. I still perform wireless backups on the Time Capsule, albeit much more quickly. I configured my AX1800 manually without a problem, I still have to mirror the port forwarding from the Time Capsule. The AX1800 does not run hot, checked it for a week while streaming HD to 2 smart TVs while connected to several iOS devices on both channels. Flawless performance. The only problem encountered was with my daughter's Lenovo Flex 14. I had to manually update the wifi driver for the Intel wireless adapter as the computer would not recognize the AX comm spec. Ah Windoze, W10 is another typical crippled OS from the MS dungeons. But it seems now that if you have enough time and motivation you can find a solution online. So glad I left the MSverse all those years ago.

This router has excellent connectivity with both wired and wireless connections. The speed with wi-fi 6 is more than I need, but it is impressive. I have echos, rokus, smart tv's, light switches, electrical outlets, thermostats, computers, gaming consoles, printers, tablets, and cell phones all connected to it without any problems. The tether app works well on my phone an allows me the opportunity to make changes to the network if needed, however I mostly use it to see the routing table and note what's connected or not at any given time. Your average modern home with streaming televisions, cell phones, tablets, smart devices, etc. all seem to work well with this router and keep a reliable connection. I do have it bridged with an older TP-Link wireless router, which helps to expand wireless coverage through my home. They seem to work well together, but I allow the AX1800 to manage the routing tables and assign the ip addresses for everything. Definitely consider this wireless router if you don't specifically need the very best in speed and don't want to spend a ton of money. It does a nice job.

Set up is not overly difficult and the range is adequate for our needs - approximately 10 ft thru 3 walls.

I had to replace an old Netgear unit that just didn't have the capacity or range to handle smart TVs and wireless cameras. I researched TPLink and decided on one that had the kind of range I need as well as being able to handle the traffic. I'm very happy so far. I used the Tether app to set it up. At first, it wouldn't connect to my computer. So, I reset and went through the steps again successfully. I may have reversed a couple of steps the first time. I am so happy with the range of this thing. I have a 2100 sq ft home with a detached garage with wireless cameras all over the outside. I could not connect to all of them without a range extender before. Now, I have a strong signal at all points of my 6600 sq ft property (wood and sheetrock walls). Previously with WiFi Analyzer, my neighbor's signal strength outshone my own. Not so, now. I'm king of the hill. My upload and download speeds are magnitudes better, and I don't have to put up with freezing movies on my smart TVs. Wish I had done it sooner. BTW, I researched through about 10 different sources before satisfying myself that this was the best bet for my situation. I probably could have gotten the cheaper model, but no regrets whatsoever.

I’ve had no issues with this router. I use a Netgear Gigabit Cable Modem (32x8) DOCSIS 3.1. Xfinity 150 Mbps service

Connection was a cinch. Took less than five minutes. Instrucions were clear. The product is small, fits in the palm of your hand and is the closest in resemblance to an apple device. I ordered this to replace my apple Airport router that they don't make any longer. Many online reviewers recommended this and since I live in the Mac ecosphere, I jumped for this very nicely designed Eero router. The next day, when turning on Netflix on my Samsung TV in the next room, I got a network error message on the screen. I knew the internet was working fine. All I had to do was to update the network on the onscreen TV display and Netflix then sprung to life. However, the next day when I put on Netflix, the same error message again! Turned on Amazon Prime, that also did not conenct. Went into network status, refreshed, and it got working. So……..each time Netflix or Amazon Prime was turned on, the network would need to be refreshed. Very, very irritating. I read all the online comments. Several Eero buyers were having the same problem. I even reset, unplugged/plugged the power, disconnected/connected the network cable in the Eero, but it didn't change anything. The wifi on my iPhone and mac laptops was connected fine. Only internet streaming didn't quite like the Eero router. Now why would I, each time, have to mess with the network connection on my TV because of this Eero router? Didn't want to spend time talking to tech support. This is an issue they know about but haven't apparently solved, not in the router I purchased anyway. Ordered a TP-Link AX-1500 router right away - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085288G3M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I don't particularly like the black color nor its much larger size so that is a trade off I will live with. BTW, connecting the TP-Link was as easy. The small, compact, white color Eero looks really good but unfortunately I have to give it a one-star in these days of streaming.

I recently purchased this wireless router from Amazon, and I must say, I am absolutely blown away by its performance! Installation was a breeze, and it was incredibly easy to set up. It took me no more than a few minutes to have the router up and running. The connections provided by this router are incredibly stable, and I have not experienced any drop-offs or interruptions. The WiFi 6 technology really shines here, giving me extremely fast and efficient wireless speeds that are perfect for my gaming and streaming needs. One of the standout features of this router is its dual-band functionality. The 5GHz connections are incredibly smooth and fast, making it ideal for my high-bandwidth activities. The user-interface is friendly and intuitive, making it a breeze to navigate and configure my settings. This router has proven itself to be very reliable, and I am genuinely impressed with the auto updatable firmware feature. It keeps my router secure and up to date without any hassle on my part. Plus, the WiFi range is nothing short of amazing. Even when I set the transmit power to medium, I get excellent coverage throughout my entire home. I have tried many routers in the past, but this one takes the cake! I can honestly say that I have not encountered any cons with this product. It delivers on every promise, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you're in the market for a wireless router that offers easy installation, stable connections, lightning-fast speeds, and fantastic range, look no further. This router is worth every penny!

I bought this to replace my TP-Link Archer 60 AC 1350. Out of the box this is a much better router - signal strength is good and stronger further away. The black design also makes it blend into my bookcase better than the white on the Archer 60. Speeds are higher as well, as expected. New Wi-Fi 6 technology took a bit to connect - my laptop has an I5-7200U in it - released 4 years ago. Before I could get it to connect to AX Wi-Fi, I had to download and install all the driver updates available for it. This was easy to do with Intel Driver & Support Assistant (just Google it). Do this before activating the new router unless you have an alternative way to access the internet (range extenders/hotspot). TP-Link's Tether app made setup simple and quick, but its options are pretty basic. Once my computer updated I was able to go into the router itself and fine-tune my settings. These are as detailed or simple as you want - firewall, MAC filtering, VPN support, media server, etc. are all included. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend TP-Link for anyone looking for good products. Depending on your use-case, you can find a Wi-Fi router from this brand with good speeds/feature sets/reliability at any price-point between $30 (very basic) - $400 (ridiculous) CAD.
