Customers find the Ethernet adapter works well with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the Nintendo Switch, with drivers installing automatically. Moreover, they appreciate its speed, particularly how it improves Raspberry Pi performance, and consider it good value for money. However, the build quality and connectivity receive mixed feedback - while some find it well-constructed and reliable, others report random disconnections during heavy usage. Additionally, the driver requirement is also mixed, with some customers needing to install them while others don't.

Easy to install and not one issue with it yet. I've had this for long enough to proper drive test before doing a review, and I can tell you it is wonderful. Other cards I've gotten have had issues such as randomly dropping Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on Windows 10, that is not the case with this one. No drops, stable connection, high speeds.

TRENDnet AX3000 WiFi 6 + BT 5.2 works good in my PC. I have Windows 11 Pro and MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus motherboard with only wired ethernet port. It has an AMD CPU - Ryzen 7 2700X. Additional Info: This TRENDnet AX3000 requires a USB 2.0 port on the motherboard to be free if you want Blue Tooth. It comes with a cable that connects the card to the USB port. I had 2 USB 2.0 ports open on my PC because only the 3.2 ports are connected to the outside outlets that I plug my things into. You will have to check your PC - look for the manual online and it should show a diagram of all the connection spots. Anecdote: I recently moved my PC to a location needing wireless instead of a cable. PC is now downstairs and the router is downstairs, but not too far away. Also, I could use some Blue Tooth to connect my JBL Charge 4 instead of the poor quality PC speaker. For some reason I decided on this Trendnet AX3000 with BT 5.2. It is working good for me so far. I have 300Mbps internet and this is pretty steady at 302 to 317 Mbps. The Blue Tooth connects to my JBL Charge 4 speaker and plays good with a range of up to 50 feet. It may be the speaker limiting it, it's older but I don't know. Currently I'm using it as a PC speaker so its right under the monitor and works great. I am happy with this TRENDnet AX3000. It is working good with my PC that has an AMD CPU and Windows 11. I like having the Blue Tooth on my PC. Project Add-Wireless-to-PC completed - check. Blue Tooth operational - check. 5-stars earned.

Not sure what other users might have been concerned about with this card; maybe due to their OS or computer. For me, running Win11 on an older Z170X MB with an I7-7700K CPU -- this was plug and play. Didn't even need to download or update drivers, Windows recognized the card instantly and I had WiFi and Bluetooth up and running with no issues at all. Great value for this card. Mine was marked "Made in Taiwan", which was an additional plus.

I was able to achieve close to the same speed as with a wired connection. Although usually the Windows native drivers are newer than the ones that come on a CD with a device, the opposite was true. The Trendnet website had the same version driver as what was on the CD, so I used that instead of the Windows native driver. This is my secondary PC and is on an older machine (Intel i7 3770K based) running Windows 10 (PC won't support Windows 11 due to no TPM and older CPU) so it was nice upgrade to an older machine (My newer build is running Windows 11 on i9 platform). The card is based on Intel Proset chipset. Support for acx (Wifi 6) over just ac was a plus! Went through a load of download/upload speed tests and results were great each time. Connection is also very stable ... not a single dropout. Bluetooth 5.2 support was another plus! (you will need a spare USB 2 internal header on the motherboard to use Bluetooth, which I happened to have). Highly recommend this wi-fi card.

It works with my Acer Chromebook 15, but it didn't tell/show me that it was connected/working. The reason for 4 stars instead of a 5, is the lack of any paper instructions re using it with an Acer Chromebook 15, and that it works, but doesn't show that it is connected/working. I lucked out and tried to see if I had a ethernet connection. It worked and is very fast. The connection is a simple/easy~plug the ethernet rj45 in the Trendnet connection slot and plug the USB connection into my Acer 3.0 USB port.. However, there is no icon showing that you are connected to the ethernet. I can now use my Acer Chromebook 15 like a desk top. With the above connections, I use a HDMI cable to connect my Chromebook to my new View Sonic 22 " monitor. I also, use a Logitech USB wireless keyboard/mouse. I have incredible HD images on my View Sonic monitor. The Acer Chromebook 15 with this setup is very fast. I can sit back in my easy office chair and do what ever I need to do with the increased security of an ethernet connection versus WiFi with the USB keyboard/mouse on my portable lap desk. Now, I'm in my family room with the ethernet plugged into a TP link in a nearby wall socket and connected to my Acer Chromebook 15, and I used this connection to place an order to Amazon for to use this with my Android Tablet.

Not working with Windows 8.1 . The driver is no longer compatible to the OS and no one is interested in fixing it . Neither TRENDnet nor ASIX . TRENDnet has a very bad support they have customer support executives who has no technical knowledge on their products but just work like answering machines

This is a short review for the Trendnet AX3000 wireless adapter PCIe card (TEW-907ECH). Although this isn't obvious in the product description, it is based on Intel's AX200 chip. The drivers that come with the product are signed by Intel, and you can get the latest drivers for that chip on Intel's website (just search for "ax200 drivers"). Installation went well under Win10 (I don't have Win11). Nothing negative to say: Wifi and Bluetooth connections worked well, and I was glad to upgrade to WPA3 security. For Linux users: I have (quickly) tested this card on a Linux Mint 22 system, with Linux kernel 6.8.x, and the Wifi was functional out of the box. According to Intel's website, support should be available for linux kernel 5.1+, but I haven't tested that. Note that I could pair Bluetooth devices in LM22, but they were not functional. I didn't inquire further, lack of time, so maybe I needed to configure something.

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch as a cheaper alternative to the semi-official Hori adapter, and I was not disappointed. This adapter uses the exact same chipset and offers the same specs as the Nintendo-branded one for half the price. I have only tested it on the USB 3.0 port on the back of the Switch's dock, but I am getting a gigabit connection and it is working as expected. The cable on the adapter is long enough that it clears the door on the back on the Switch dock when plugged into the rear USB port, so the door is able to close properly. The adapter portion hangs out the side of the dock; it's somewhat visible in my setup, but not a huge deal. My only complaint is that the adapter is only available in white and it would look a lot more discrete if it was black to match the Switch's dock and the other cables. Overall, this is definitely a great alternative to the Nintendo adapter if you're looking to save a few bucks.
