I purchased this for my husband and he absolutely loved it. I read a couple reviews about the pages and I really don’t think they are an issue. Great deal.

Do you have a shelf full of CS Lewis works? I do. Lewis himself has written that one is not really a reader if she’s only read a book once (my paraphrase). His ideas are inexhaustible, ripe for a re-read and then again and again. This a beautiful set, the cover paper is feel-good soft and pliable (not thin and cheap). The front and back covers fold with an inner flap that makes for a nice placesaver. How often I draw from my CS Lewis bookshelf to share one in a gift basket or to plant bedside for bite-sized savors morning or night. Seriously, you cannot have too many of these works. Duplicates are wonderful to have around.

I cannot even tell you how amazing these books are! So I know you're feeling dread that these are paperback, but they are extremely well made paperbacks and do not fall apart with use. But the content, yall.... your lives will be changed, because God spoke through C.S. Lewis, and I really really believe that. These are such good works and I really thing every human should read them.

After reading numerous reviews I purchased this set and am glad I did. I find the quality, material, and packaging to be good, artistic, and functional. They fit in my hand well, pages turn with ease, and the front cover has a fold that marks the page. The paper has a natural grain feel that allows for good grip and comfort. This is not glossy paper and it is cut with intentional layered edges that conjur up an ancient period. After comparing to reviews noting poor material quality/design, I find it is really a matter of taste. This appears to me to be a quality book set that I will cherish for years to come.

If you’re like me, and wonder what the difference in these sets is, other than the price, rest assured that the books are very similar. The set on the left, has a flap with a summary of the book in the front and a bio of CS Lewis on the back flap. The set on the right does not have the flaps. The set on the left has pages that appear to be sheared/torn. The set on the left includes a journal and a bookmark. Other than that, the books are the same size, font, and the same art on the covers. Usually, the set on the left is about $30 more expensive. I ordered both sets when they were the same price. Personally, I prefer the set on the left, because I think the flaps give it a little more…oomph! Happy reading!!

La calidad de los libros es excelente, las hojas están hechas para verse de esa manera y no es un error de construcción del libro. Ese detalle hace que incluso se vean mejor los libros.

A entrega foi muito rápida. O prazo era de 5-6 dias e chegou no dia seguinte da compra. Veio tudo muito bem embalado e com proteção extra. Os livros vou ainda começar a ler, mas chegaram em ótimo estado. NÃO HÁ DEFEITO NENHUM DAS PÁGINAS! O que acontece é que a largura das páginas difere, justamente para dar uma ideia de papiros, um material mais artesanal. Agradeço aos vendedores e recomendo!

Diese Rezension bezieht sich NUR auf die Material Qualität, NICHT auf den INHALT der Bücher. Wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist die Binde Qualität der Bücher mehr als ungenügend. Papier fühlt sich an wie Zeitungspapier. Das Buch würde wahrscheinlich nach einmaligen durchlesen auseinander fallen. Schade eigentlich... Gehen definitiv zurück. Für den Preis unzumutbar!

Very happy with it. The books fit very tightly together however so it's hard to put a book back in after taking out but it's only a minor detail. Actual books and writing is fantastic. Highly recommend this collection from CS.Lewis.
