This is the first instant read thermometer that I've purchased that actually works well. It's easy to clean, and store. It has magnets on the back that allow you to stick it to your refrigerator so that it's easy to find the next time you need it.

The magnet on it is awesome. I love being able to attach it to the side of my fridge so that it's always handy. It works great. It's accurate and the price is right. People equate "light weight" as feeling cheap, but the truth is that technology is better now and weighs less. You cant judge by that any more. It doesn't weigh very much, but it's performance over the last month has been great. I cook a lot and have used it a lot. For both meat and bread. I bake a lot of bread. It has stayed accurate and reads temps quickly.

I love these meat thermometers. I think they work so well I have purchased 3, one for myself, my son and one for my parents. They store nicely bc the probe part snaps into the handle. They are water proof, although I usually just wash the probe and wipe handle with damp cloth. Super easy to use, very accurate and durable enough to last.

Very good item for the price point. It was easy to set up, however the included AAA battery was "dead". I used a new battery I had and it turned on quickly. I have only used it once on a roast I was making and the unit responded very quickly. The auto shut off feature is great but I think 10 minutes may be a bit long. Maybe 5 minutes would be better. Just my personal opinion. Otherwise this compact device does the job for average cooking.

#1 cooking tool. I seldom burn steaks, just use the probe to tell you when the steak is how you want it. Simple to use; open the probe which turns it on and insert the probe into the meat and the temperature appears. Works on anything you cook.

I like how it lights up and you can see the digital temperature readings easily. I am not sure how much it will last being mostly made out of plastic. The button to open the prong seems a bit flimsy. Time will tell. Overall it looks and feels great.
