This thermometer was the cheapest one that I could find but it does not feel cheap! Right out of the box, it comes with the battery and even a mini screwdriver for putting the battery in. Really appreciated that that was included. Also love that it lists common meats on the back and the temperature they should be at. To test it, I stuck it in a rotisserie chicken I had and the temp appeared to be accurate. It’s a good size and the metal part folds up, making it compact and easy to store. Definitely an essential tool for cooking meats!

Easy to use, fast response. the housing is magnetic as such it sticks the grill and is always in reach. Disappointed that upon arrival the batteries were dead, fortunately I keep a supply of Amazon AAA batteries on hand.
