I initially bought 2 of these -- one for work, one for home. At work I use it almost daily to keep temps of various cuts of beef such as brisket or tri tip to get it to the doneness I desire. It's quite literally a "Set it and forget it!" thermometer that I can leave. The alarm goes off without a hitch when it reaches set temp. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With this thermometer everything comes out perfectly the way I want it to! At home, I opened up the second one to use this Thanksgiving. I had the 2 thermometers set for different temps and they worked wonderfully! However, through no fault of the product, I melted the body unit of one of the thermometers. I used the magnet to attach it to the side of a grill -- my mistake -- and the body almost completely melted. BUT! IT STILL WORKED! And it STILL WORKS! the battery compartment is melted shut and some of the wires are exposed, but it still reads and works like a champ (this one is going to have to be replaced once the battery dies)! Definitely a great investment at a great price!

Loved using this leave-in digital meat thermometer for Thanksgiving. I recommended it to a friend, and she got the one with 2 separate prongs for cooking multiple food items at the same time. There are so many options to have the thermometer track heat until a preset temp is achieved, or time, or multiple other options. Fantastic functionality.

This works great for grilling or roasting anything in the oven. I like the option to set an alarm for when it reaches a certain temperature. Seems high quality and durable. Easy to change out the batteries and I like that it's magnetic so it can stick to the oven door or grill legs.

First: the battery comes with an invisible plastic wrap to protect it from accidental discharge. It works so well that when you load it the unit does not turn on! Called support which was VERY helpful, and the unit did turn on. This was not the first call about it, so I hope they will add a note in the box advising users. Support answered my other questions patiently and I concluded it would not work for my main purpose (quiche). It is well made, the directions are clear and I would recommend it for use with solid foods. One more thing: if you call for support be prepared for the absolutely worst hold "music" and turn your volume down!

I bought one and used it and noticed that it was not accurate and the temp was going down instead of getting hotter. I contacted customer service and they quickly sent me another unit; I think the other one was a "lemon" but they made it right. Since getting the new unit I have not had any issues with it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice thermometer

Very nice thermometer. If you wanna roast meat to perfection, you should get one of these. Good quality for cheap.

The product is working well right now. The readings seem to be almost accurate. Will use it for over the next 3 months before I write a fresh review about its longevity and accuracy in the long run.

Great Product

I bought this as a replacement to one I had for a decade. This was very reasonably priced and it got a work out on Thanksgiving. Worked great! I used the temperature setting to get my turkey to the correct temperature. Came out beautiful.
