I bought this for myself last year and glad I did. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly with my Samsung phone. I travel frequently and now I can check the status of my luggage. Great peace of mind knowing my suitcase has arrive where I am. I pinned it in the zipper area inside my case. Small invisible and not in the way. Also it won't accidentally fall out. It's tracked my suitcase every time I've used it. Happy with my purchase. Bought 2 more as gifts this past holiday season.

Tile is super helpful for a chronic issue losing my keys. If you’re too far from the missing item, it’ll tell you the signal isn’t strong enough, which helps you get closer to where you need to be to find the item. Only issue is when the battery in the Tile dies, that’s about it, but they last a long time in my experience.

I got the Tile to put on my bike, primarily so my wife can keep track of where I am during my ride, but also in case my bike is ever stolen. I tested it around the house and it finds my bike just fine, and I can use the audio beep in case I'm really having a bad day. However, on 2 separate tests of the the "Tile Community" to find me and my bike when away from home, I was disappointed. Tile said there were around 1,000 Tile users in my "circle" which, according to the map drawn probably had at least 200,000 residents. On the first test, I went for a 60 mile bike ride through some generally heavily populated areas, and Tile found me only 3 times, according to my wife's attempts to find me. All 3 times, it found me at very busy intersections where traffic was heavy and I was probably stopped at a traffic light waiting to cross a busy street. On the 2nd test, I went for a 30-mike bike ride in some more remote areas, although always within a short distance of developed areas. Tile could not find me even once. I understand the limitations of the technology, but I'm wondering just how effective Tile can be as a tool to recover lost or stolen articles. Unless your stolen or lost article ends up at a busy intersection, or in downtown Manhattan, I'm not sure it would ever find it. If me or my bike are lying in a ditch somewhere on a lightly traveled road, I don't think Tile will ever find me either. So bottom line is yes, it's a great tool for finding your keys, wallet, of whatever around the house, but keep your expectations low that this will help you track and recover your stolen items.

My buddy in college could not stop losing his keys or his phone. This was to the point where we would search for several minutes everytime we had to leave the dorms. No matter if he had been there overnight or we stopped by for one minute he would always lose them. I was tired and frustrated of doing this ritual everytime we stopped to catch a breath. For his birthday I said enough was enough and bought him this. It didn't take long for me to set it up on his phone, certainly shorter than it did to find his phone in the first place. I put it on his keyring. While he never learned to stop losing his stuff in the first place, it sure did save me from pulling my hair out. He would open the app and immediately his keys would ring from the most lucrative spots. I had also found out that pressing the tile would call his phone, ingenious!!! We were never more than 30 seconds from finding his items no matter where we were. Thank you Tile for saving my sanity and my friendship!

If you've ever misplaced your keys or you wondered where your spouse/kid/friend left them, spare yourself grey hairs and stress. Get a Tile. The Good: The Tile pays off its investment the first time you lose the item it's attached to. Load up your app, search, and close in on your target like a shark or sub. Feel free to make Jaws noises if it eases your mental well-being. Setup requires syncing the Tile to its own app on your phone. Yes, yet another app -- but this one at least is a valuable utility. Connecting the device and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S23+) took seconds. Really user friendly all in all. The Tile is durable, fairly lightweight, and unobtrusive on my key chain. It slips on and stays on to do its job. Basically, it acts as a tiny buoy waiting until you activate the app to find it. Anything with a key ring or chain is fair game for a Tile, at least with this design. You could easily stick one in a box, an inner compartment of your luggage, or somewhere else stationary. The Bad: The Ugly: It's pretty expensive for what you get - - a product with a 2-3 year battery life. I don't like the battery cannot be replaced. This isn't very eco-friendly or consumer friendly. For that, I remove a star. Verdict: 4/5 stars. An excellent product but the non-environmentally friendly battery design is a flaw.
