These work really nicely. I have made several shirts with these and the work great. They hold ink nicely and transfer is easy and stays.

I used these for some shirts for our friends going to an event. Directions were easy to follow. The color has not faded at all and there is absolutely no peeling after a year on the shirts. I would take care to follow the washing instructions which is to always flip the shirt inside out. I got lazy so the decals have wrinkled a bit. Still no tearing, no cracking and no fading after an entire year! I did use a shirt heat press and not an iron to apply them. Update: 2/7/25 - I have had to throw some of the shirts I made away, due to peeling. I didn't feel I could re-use them for other designs. I feel 2.5 years is pretty dang good for a cheaply self made shirt. I used $6 Jo-Ann fabric T-shirts to cut down on the cost.

Alright, folks, gather 'round because I’ve found the holy grail of DIY t-shirt designs for dark colored shirts—**Iron on Heat Transfer Paper for Dark Fabric**. After many attempts at making dark personalized shirts for gifts, I can now confidently say: the search is over. I can finally design on dark shirts without ending up with a half-faded mess that looks like I printed it on a potato. First off, this paper works **great**. Like, *actually great*. I’ve tried other methods that promised "brilliant results" and ended up with a design that looked more like a crime scene than a cute t-shirt. But with this heat transfer paper, I was able to make a perfectly crisp design with vibrant colors that pop on dark fabric. And let me tell you, seeing my design come to life on the shirt was more satisfying than finding the last slice of pizza in the fridge when you thought you were out. Now, I used this paper to make a **gift**—you know, the kind of gift where you pour your heart and soul into it and then pray the recipient doesn’t pretend to love it. Well, I didn’t need to pray because this shirt turned out so well, I might have kept it for myself (but I didn’t, because I’m a generous soul and well it has someone else's face on it). It was crisp, vibrant, and, most importantly, it didn’t peel off after one wash, unlike some other products I’ve tried that left my design looking like it was written in disappearing ink. Will I buy again? Oh, *you bet*. I’ve already got a list of designs ready to go. No more struggling with fading transfers, no more awkwardly apologizing for lopsided designs. This paper has made me the DIY hero I always knew I could be. So if you’re on the hunt for a way to design on dark shirts—this is it. Your search has ended, and your t-shirt dreams have finally come true. Get ready to unleash your inner artist. You might even be tempted to start your own t-shirt business. Or at least make a couple of really cool gifts.

I have used several of these on red T-shirts and the quality is very good. They didn’t look homemade at all. When ironed, they bonded very quickly and the images were very smooth. If and when I need more, I will definitely re-order this one. Disclaimer: This is a review of a free-but-taxable product, made available via Amazon’s Vine program. ETA: “Customer service” response to this at the bottom. This was my first time using this brand. Previously, I'd used just the Avery Printable HTV for all my orders with the last 3 years of my design business. LOVED that brand and never had a problem. But the price increased and it was only in packs of 5, so when I found this, I thought I would try this to save from so many orders. This printed flawlessly. When applying, the shirt color bled through terribly, changing the color of the whole design, but customer accepted it anyway. The customer has washed the sweater twice before the whole application began peeling from the shirt, leaving behind the adhesive. They have assured me that they followed directions to wash on cold and hang to dry. I am absolutely embarrassed on my end, as these manufacturers should be as well. I had quite the stock of my Avery brand, but purchased this as backup. By the time I have come to this realization, I am out of the return window, so now I am stuck with a product I would never dream of using for another customer of mine. And will return to purchasing Avery brand that I've used this whole time and personally have a shirt with an application I've washed and dried at least 30x with no peeling. Customer service reached out initially saying they’d like to make it right and to respond to the message for open communication (obvious general response to negative feedback.) I responded letting them know what I’d experienced. Their response was questions on what fabric I used as well as heat temp, pressure and time. I responded back with all those answers as well as letting them know I also, at that same time of making this hoodie made two others, same exact brand hoodie, one with regular HTV and one sublimation. Their response was their printable vinyl is different than sublimation and HTV (obviously! This is what I do for a living but thanks for the condescension) and that I was using too high of heat and for too long. That those two misuses of their product caused my issue. Too high of heat (by 50 degrees) and 30 seconds too long were reasons were why the top layer peeled off a couple washes later?! I’m no scientist, but I do have common sense. The image and application were just fine (aside from color bleed through) initially. It wasn’t until a couple washes that the image part peeled off, leaving the adhesive. On what planet would high and too long heat make the unphased vinyl portion come off and leave adhesive behind a month later? Based on customer service alone, I’d never purchase from them again

Not the greatest quality, but it works

This worked really good. I didn't have time to order a t-shirt for Pride Day at my work. So I ordered this paper and made a shirt for myself instead. It came out very vibrant using my Epson eco-tank printer set to the best quality for printing. I probably could have centered the picture better on my t-shirt but I was in a bit of a rush. One thing that would have been helpful is if they would have included a paper cutting knife. But as you see it did ok with just a pair of scissors and a dull box cutter.

I have used so many of these and this one is the best so far. I don't think it's fantastic but I can't find anything better. You must leave the heat on this for a long time or this will come right off in the washer. You cannot but these in the dryer after pressed or it will shrivel up and the item will be garbage
