Me and my husband ordered this mattress about 6 months ago for our new home, and we are in love! It’s so soft and comfortable. It still doesn’t have any tears, and our dog used to sleep with us so that says something. It was super easy to unpack and we let it sit for 3 days (to be safe) before we slept on it. It fits perfectly on the bed frame we bought too. Definitely worth the money!

This is my first time purchasing a mattress and I was very nervous buying a 'mattress in a box.' I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I knew it would be a pain to return if it was a bad purchase, and I would be out a lot of money. The mattress was very well packaged. Besides being wrapped in plastic on the outside, it was rolled up in plastic so that when you grab one edge and pull, the mattress starts to unravel. I left it sitting for 3 days to inflate but I really didn't need to. It inflated to just shy of the 14" on the first day. There was no smell at all. The mattress is HEAVY! Well made, nice seams, not cheap looking at all. The mattress is very comfortabe. Usually, there is an adjustment period when you get a new mattress (or so the internet tells me) but it was fine for me the first day and was more comfortable each successive day. I was sleeping on a 20+ years old mattress so this is heaven. My sheets finally fit, I don't bounce around like a trampoline when I turn over (no motion at all). The edge support is not too bad and quickly goes back to the height when you stand up. It's a medium firm and is just right. Very comfortable. For $244, this mattress exceeds my expectations. Even if you buy a really, high end mattress for around $3000, they only last about 10 years. That's $300 per year. So if this mattress needs to be replaced in a year, it still evens out, financially speaking. Very happy with the purchase.

I was skeptical because I've never bought a mattress in a box before. Always went somewhere from mattress stores to box stores and tried them out first. This mattress was a great deal and I thought we'd give it a try. I did open it on the old box spring and did let it sit for over the recommended "up to 72 hours" . More like 80 hours, but who's counting. Put the sheets on it and laid down. Felt like a nice hotel mattress. The pillow top is amazing and can actually tell that it has the cooling characteristics. Anyway. Been sleeping on it for almost a week now and zero complaints! Only thing I had to do was lose one of the three pillows I was sleeping on. Guess I sink down too much on this mattress, lol!

After sleeping on a cheap memory foam mattress for over a year this bed was a welcome change. It's firm, the springs don't make any noise and the bed puffed up to be a perfect 12 inches. I got a memory foam topper which just made the bed even more comfortable. I have been sleeping wonderfully and not tossing and turning in my sleep anymore.

It’s quite literally what is advertised. I got a full size 12 inch, and I love it. It was affordable, it came within the week, and it was simple to set up. The mattress was as heavy as you would expect, but it comes rolled up an a vacuum sealed plastic wrap, and once you cut it, it rolls right out. Just be careful of surroundings, and to not cut the mattress. (I made a lil oopsie but that is user error) Some people recommend letting it sit for 24-48hrs before sleeping in it, but I took the risk, since the company never specifically mentions it, and you DO NOT have to let it sit. Very comfortable at a medium stiffness.

I recently purchased this mattress, and I have to say, it’s been quite the experience—just not the one I was hoping for! Just be careful about the edges of the mattress they are not very sturdy and a bit of a design flaw. Make sure to sit completely on the bed or you can slide off. However, when the bed is completely made its more durable. On the plus side, right out of the box, the mattress had a luxurious feel, and the plush top promised a cozy night’s sleep. I did appreciate the cooling feature—it’s great for hot sleepers. In summary, the Slippery Slide Mattress offers comfort and cooling but lacks stability on the edges. If you enjoy sleeping on the edge (literally), this might be the mattress for you. Otherwise, it was a soft mattress and good value, I am using it for a guest room.
