Sure, it can be plugged into a wall outlet and works great. But it can also be used at the end of an extension cord. Its short stature allows it to fit in places I wouldn't ordinarily use a long, flat outlet extender. Using some double-sided sticky mounting tape on the bottom, it can be employed in tight spaces and stays put. It's a very nice, flexible extender at a great price.

This is an economical surge protector and outlet extender with charging for non-PD devices as a bonus. I like the perpendicular sides that allow four AC plugs for tight fits. Its ability to rotate makes it quite versatile.. However, in most situations, it will not sit squarely on the outlet because the distant end will fall to the wall; when bothered enough, I just stick or hot glue a right-sized rubber bumper there to fill the wall gap.

This was a great choice in outlet expander! Able to work in tight spaces, and the rotating ability was very beneficial. Plenty of power from the USB ports for charging batteries, phones and other rechargeable items. I definitely recommend this!

Me sirve mucho y que padre que venga opción giratoria, pues en donde yo lo conecto la conexión está casi pegada a la puerta, entonces si lo giro no hay problema para que cierre bien la puerta.
