We’ve tried a few different models for motion-activated battery-powered lights in our closets, and this is our favorite. We now have about a dozen in total. We’re using the warm white, longer models. I love that they charge using USB-C, and the LED clearly shows red or green to illustrate if it is charging or fully charged. They are very slim, which is great for occupying little space in a closet. The adhesive magnet mount is very useful, easy to stick the light onto a place but detach and reattach it easily when taking off for charging. The light itself has nice color temperature, shines brightly, and produces a quality solid light, none of that flickering strobing stuff from cheaper LEDs. The battery lasts sufficiently long such that I can’t remember being bothered by having to charge them frequently (but again we’re using them in closets, not as kitchen under lighting or something where it would be used more frequently). The only downside is the cost. These are not cheap, especially to have a couple of pairs in a closet, but the quality of the light and ease of install and use make them worthwhile.

It is wonderful to see a product that works and is well thought out. These under Cabinet lights are a thing of beauty. You remove the magnet glue paper and place the unit where you want. The company also provides screws to make sure the tabs never come off. They even have a dotted line so you know where the center of the bar is for installation purposes! To make it even sweeter these units have a brightness switch, easily rechargeable batteries, and can be set so a pass with your hand will turn them on using a built in motion detector. They then turn off when the sensor detects no more motion. You can also manually turn the light on and bypass the motion detector. I originally order a set of two. I am now junking my old under counter lights and ordering four more of these. Just great!

After years of purchasing round "little" lights where batteries constantly run out, with nasty stick-ons for the inside of darker kitchen cabinets, I finally found what i wanted and needed. Thank you Amazon!! And, I am not affiliated with the seller of this product. These fabulous looking and designed, rechargeable-flat-thin-magnetically attachable, yet removable for charging Under Cabinet Lights are unmatched. Light turns on with movement just when I need a little extra light in the dark, or stay on with the easily accessible switch. Either steady ON or AUTOMATIC on off (or OFF completely); are attached in my kitchen under very dark areas of my kitchen cabinets, and light up the countertop beautifully. Purchased extra for replacing the old round ones inside the cabinets. And will be going back for more. You just cannot purchase just ONE (set of 2) . Though description mentions BATTERIES, I don't believe that is correct. Will be CHARGING them when needed.

Our old house had two LED strips that plugged into outlets so we would flip two switches to turn them on in the evening and shut them off at night. But the strip would not work in the new house because the cabinets are different heights and depths. I paid $12 for each rechargeable light so $24 per two pack. I bought just 2 lights to make sure we liked them then ordered 10 more. We have used them for a month and like them; brightness is good; very easy to install; some reviews complained about the mount falling off but not an issue (maybe they did not put them on correctly); i set one light to max brightness and it lasted 10 hours; yes it's a pain to turn on 12 switches every evening but that only takes 30 seconds; we end up charging 3-4 lights each day so I bought a "MaxLax USB Charger Station,10-Port 50W/10A" for $12 so there's enough ports to also charge two phones and other gadgets. Install: Cabinets are wood but rather than use the screws to mount the plates I stuck the sticky side of the plates to the wood. After you remove the plastic from the two mounts, put the mounts on the back of the light (light is held to mounts by a magnet) with the sticky side up. Then get the light in place under the cabinet and push up on the whole thing- light with mounts attached, and the mounts will stick. Do not try to attach mounts without the light because it's impossible to line them up correctly. I wanted each light two inches from the front edge of the cabinet so every time I stuck my hand under there the switch would be in the same place. I taped a 2 inch scrap of wood under the cabinet and mounted the light right next to it- that also kept the lights straight. After the first light I did not even bother with the tape- I just held the block in place then smushed the mounts to the cabinet. After they are charged, I put them back under the cabinet with the switch always on the right side so i do not have to guess which end to look for the switch on. Specs: Lights are 10 inches long and 8 inches of that is the LEDs. They have a low profile so you do not see them under the cabinet. When we found we had to charge the lights every few days (we were hoping for once a week) I looked into the 1800 mAh spec which is some measure of the battery, and I found similar lights with up to 5,000 mAh. But they had the exact same "lasts up to 8 hours on max brightness." I think because they had more LEDs or put out more light- the battery was better but it did not extend the max time before needing a charge. I finally found a light about the same size with a 4,200 mAh battery that lasts 20 hours but it's $20. So the drawbacks are turning on and off so many switchs and having to charge them. But it only took a couple minutes to install one light- I installed all 12 in less than an hour. I guess I could have bought one 20 inch light for the bigger cabinets and had three less switches, but these were a good price. These would be perfect for use in a pantry, closet, over the utility sink in the laundry room- not really bright enough to put over a workbench, but if you set them to auto, every time you open the pantry door or use the sink in the laundry room you can see what you're doing. And with the light on auto it should only need to be charged once or twice a month.

I purchased these lights for my bedroom closet because I don't have access to an outlet or direct power for lighting. I needed something simple and easy to install that would help light up the area without the need for a crazy amount of construction. These were extremely easy to install and I was impressed with the power of the magnets on the back. I don't see them falling any time soon. The adhesive on the other side of the magnet that you use to attach it to a wall or ceiling seemed a little light but after letting it sit for 24 hours and testing the hold they seem to be holding strong! I love the motion activated feature because I had to place them high up to cover the whole closet (small 4x6 closet) and now I dont have to reach to have them turn on, they kick right on when I open the door. It is a slight delay but only a second or two so Its not a huge deal to me but if split second reaction is what you need it might be best to have them close to where the motion is happening. Very happy with the purchase!

I have several closet that doesn't have light, been dark for ages, finally tried these, works wonder, lit the closet, easy to install, just peel the magnetic and stick to the top, been using it for months, haven't needed to charge it yet. Auto shuts off, motion sensor. Very nice product highly recommended.

Sensitive motion detector, easy installation, easy recharging and adjustable light intensity make these under-cabinet lights an indispensable addition to my kitchen. The only critique is that the battery charge is a little shorter than expected, so regular recharging is necessary.

I just got it so I cannot speak about how often it needs charging, but these lamps were very easy to install, the adhesive is very strong and you can remove the lamp easily as it is mounted on magnets (you also get an extra set of magnets in the package, as spares, which means you could move the lamps around different locations if needed). The option off keeping it on or on auto (movement sensor) is great. The brightness is wonderful for under kitchen cabinets, shelves and inside closets and cupboards. I am very pleased with them.
