Simply put, the replacement control works better than the original control that came with the tv. The buttons actually respond instantly and no more waiting for a response and having the input change to something you did not command. The original control was slow and frustrating, this replacement works perfectly.

So I guesss I fall under stupidity as I read these reviews. It took me forever to figure out how to program the remote control. The reviews that say you don't need to pair or sync it to the Vizio TV are actually speaking FACTS!!! I installed the batteries by matching the picture and that ish is incorrect. My batteries were opposite from the pic so technically I installed my batteries upside down and as soon as I did that the remote work instantly!!!!! Hopefully this helps 🎄

If you are looking for a remote for your Samsung that does 85% of what the original remote does for 15% of the cost, this is 100% your choice. It sort of works but not exactly like the original, the center button didn’t work on most apps. It did pair easily and it got me through long enough to fix the original.

The remote has functional special keys (Netflix, prime etc.) that work fine along with the rest of the keys. The quality is robust. Just the volume key to get volume down is a bit harder to press than you would expect. I guess it’s good enough replacement for the price.
