As soon as I put batteries into this Samsung compatible tv remote it worked automatically with the tv! Supper easy set up and activation! The weight is very light and the volume control works but it took me longer than I’d life to admit on how to control the channels and volume, it is not like your typical buttons it has an up and down little lever and you have to physically put your nail under and flip It up and down for volume control it is durable and compatibility is easy

This remote worked perfectly right out the package. My sound bar is connected through arc so it controls that as well. There is a slight delay but not enough to complain about. Overall good remote for my samsung tv.

Unit came did not work very well. This is my third one in six years. The first two were awesome. This one just didn’t work right

I was frantic after I accidently put my old remote through the washing machine. Did some research and tryed this one. Put the batteries in and it worked perfectly. It does not have any backlighting, which I would have liked. It seems sturdy and it's easy to use. Good price.

Love the remote my 50" Samsung came with (like this one). Hate the remote my 65" Samsung came with. What to do? Buy one of these! From day one I loved the original remote my 50" came with. It is well worn and only does what I need it to do. Lately though, it's been acting up, registering more clicks than it should. Typing in a search field was fun with two or three characters popping up. Pain in the butt doing searches. Select A. Why are there 2 or 3 A's? Backspace. Crap shoot. Repeat. Selecting menu items, like more info in Prime, just bounced in then back to the main menu. You know...fun! Thankfully I haven't "auto purchased" anything! Since it was time to look for a replacement, I figured, what if I can replace the big brick with way too many buttons on it that I hate? Rubbery, spongey feeling, slow to respond hunk of junk with way too many buttons my 65" came with? Did I already mention it has way too many useless buttons for my daily viewing habits? There are way too many remotes that look just like this one available. I rolled the dice and went with the most reviewed and got this one. A factory replacement, Samsung branded remote, is in the $65 to $75 range. I figured why not give it a shot for 10 bucks? Couldn't be happier! It doesn't come with voice control...aside from that, it function's perfectly like the remote it replaced. I used the voice control maybe half a dozen times with the original so no big deal to me. Everything else does what it's supposed to do. Buttons feel solid on this one...everything about it feels good except that it's a little rougher, not as well fitted as the original, but it will "smooth" out with use. Just like the shiny, well-worn original in the photo. Bonus points...It works with both my TV's! Bye bye brick! It doesn't control my Samsung Blu-ray player like the "brick", but who cares? It has its own remote for when, on the sad occasion, my internet goes out and I fire up an old disk when I can't stream. I'll hold off awhile before I get a another dedicated remote for the living room and break this one in. So far, it's a keeper and I'm very happy with it. Anyone who streams 99% of their content and doesn't need or want a remote that feels clunky in their hand should give one of these a spin. It covers everything (so far) in a modern smart TV. Fits nicely in the hand with no need for backlighting or any need to look at the darn thing. Highly recommend if you're like me and don't particularly care for the remote your newer Samsung TV came with.

My husband wanted a remote similar to the Amazon Fire Stick remote and this remote was perfect. It was easy to set up and it works great.

I'm on my fourth of these thanks to a puppy who has no tolerance for boredom. While they don't hold up well to determined puppy jaws, they can survive a few drops on the tile floor. Great price, great value. I will continue to buy these when I need a replacement.

This product is awesome and a deal breaker. But the volume button was pretty ok as to increase it we had to repeatedly push it. Otherwise, this product is a value for money product. It also has less buttons which indicates it's easy to use
