Do not buy this product. Heat from weld will mess with threads.

Fine for the price. Hard to complain. Looks good. Vented option is kind of a joke - relies on using a notched o-ring to let air in through the threads. I’m not sure if that would provide adequate venting particularly if using this on a tank for holding thicker fluids. If venting is desired I’d probably sooner drill a hole through the top. Second issue - prepare to spend 10min cleaning up threads with a small file. DIY deburring required - apparently the factory does not deburr their parts after machining.

I didn't see anywhere to select weather i wanted vented or non, so i figured that somehow it was going to be changeable once i got it. Well, it's not. Maybe i simply just didn't see where the selection was. Otherwise, it was a little small for my application, but that isn't the fault of the seller! Still a cool lil weld in gas cap.

only issue is when welding this to a tank there is not a lot of material there so it can distort a little and make it hard for the cap to screw on. i also was a little confused about the vented and non vented part, but once you see the o-rings you understand what they are talking about. other than that it works fine and looks good. have purchased a couple more since.
