I had never heard of this tape for helping improve sleep until now. I must say I was very skeptical. As a person who snores a lot I didn't know what to expect. First night it felt very awkward. By the third night I could tell a difference in my sleep. I didn't wake up with a dry mouth and my throat wasn't sore. After the Fourth night I can say I slept better and did not wake up tired like I usually do. I actually felt like I had slept good without waking up during the night. I think the tape across my mouth made a difference. I am surprised and impressed !!!!

The concept of mouth tape is that it forces your mouth to remain closed while you sleep but at first I was skeptical if it really has any positive outcomes but after trying it for a few nights I see it has many pros. After suffering from seasonal allergies i started sleeping with my mouth open but that was cured in just a few nights from using mouth tape forcing me to breath through my nose! I also heard that mouth tape can help those who snore and even offered it to my father who has always had an issue with snoring. Within a week he has stopped snoring and was also able to get good rest at night because of it. An extra bonus I found while using this product is that before you put on the mouth tape, if you put vaseline on your lips you wake up with very soft lips! The mouth tape is sticky enough to remain on your lips all night long but not enough to hurt when you peel it off!

I’ve bought several different brands and sized mouth tape. I like this one for the size, and it stays on not too big or too small.

The reviews are real lol, product smells horrible. I’m not sensitive to smells and it’s enough for me to not even use the product.

This product though is not something I would usually use; I would recommend to those that have trouble with dry mouth when they sleep. I tested it out and can say that the adhesive on the tape piece was very durable and stayed on through the night's entirety. I was skeptical because I thought it might be uncomfortable but once I put it on, I had no issues. It was comfortable. I personally wouldn't use this on a daily basis since I don't have a consistent issue with dry mouth. However, if I'm sick, I would definitely use this because when I get sick, I have issues with dry mouth so I know that this is a product I can go back to.

This thing is comfortable, stretchy, and doesn't leave any residue on your face unlike other tapes I've tried. I tried rebuking this maybe a couple weeks after my first pack months ago and they were removed from Amazon. I thought it was kinda weird but disappointed as I had to settle for something worse. Then this product came back and the price difference is insane! It's an extra 9 dollars for the same amount of tape! I ain't buying that!

I have a confession to make, I snore. I wish I didn’t but it’s the truth. In addition to snoring, I have anxiety about how many spiders have made their way into my mouth since I’m a mouth breather. Enter, gentle tape. The packaging is secure, simple, and sanitary. The instructions mention to apply to a "hair free" area, not sure how that works out for men with beards and mustaches but it was perfect for me. My skin type is somewhat sensitive, easily turns red and can be dry around the mouth. When I use the tape, it’s usually for no more than 8 hours. It doesn’t lift around the edges, or have a weird smell, it was overall pretty comfortable, and when I removed it, it wasn't painful at all. More of a relief when I take it off. I honestly was surprised at how breathable it really is. You obviously have to make sure to put it over slightly opened lips though. Breathable level from 1 to 10, 1 being unbreathable and 10 being very breathable, I give it about a 4.5, which is not exactly a bad thing. It’s most comfortable breathing through your nose and mouth at the same time, which made even the idea of wearing the tape easier since there is some air flow. I know my partner gets a better night’s sleep when I wear these. I don’t have to worry about spiders in my mouth AND I’m going to take these when I go camping because the amount of critters mixed with my mouth breathing when I sleep is not a good combination.
