This has been a lifesaver for my skin, especially while I was on Accutane, which is known for its extreme drying effects. Throughout my treatment, my skin was incredibly sensitive and prone to dryness, but this moisturizer kept my skin hydrated and soft without irritation. It’s non-greasy, fragrance-free, and absorbs quickly, making it perfect for daily use without leaving a heavy or sticky residue. The formula is gentle yet effective, providing lasting moisture and helping to soothe any tightness or flakiness caused by Accutane. I’ve used it on my face and body, and it’s been great for both. If you're dealing with dry skin from medication or environmental factors, **Vanicream** is a reliable, dermatologist-recommended option that really works to keep your skin nourished and comfortable.

The cream is very hydrating, it doesn't has scent or other ingredients that irritate my skin. One of the best creams I have ever used. Seems to absorb into skin pretty quickly considering how thick & hydrating it is. Size seems to be a good value for the price. The container is sturdy & the pump is awesome. Making it easy to use. Love it & works good!

I can't believe this moisturizer is so affordable and it works SO WELL. I have always had a rougher skin texture and was starting to think I always would. Other moisturizers would hydrate my skin for at most 4 hours post-application, but not this stuff. I use it twice a day, at night (mixed with Castor oil) and in the morning and my skin is soft and moisturized all day every day. It's never made me break out or irritated my skin. I even it use it to help heal sunburns. It does have a bit of tackiness when you first apply, but absorbs nicely in minutes. I've been using it for about 4 months consistently and I haven't even used half the container. I don't intend on ever trying another moisturizer. I'm set.

I have a little small red patch on one of my cheeks. It's sun damage. The dress prescribed this to me. But it's cheap on Amazon and its the same exact one I got at the pharmacy. My dry patch is soooo much better now. This stuff works great! Makes me feel super moisturized. I put it on after the shower and my skin feel so soft all day. No smell. A little goes a long way. Good size for the price. It's a good value and great product!

This is a superior product - dr. recommended - no fragrance, very good for dry skin, or combination type skin. I've used it for years. But the one annoying factor of the item with the pump dispenser is that the pump is TOO short. When you get to about an inch from the bottom of the cream, the pump does not reach & you have to unscrew the product to utilize the rest of the cream. This would seem to be a fixable defect in an otherwise great product. So i gave 4 stars, when it should have had 5. VaniCream is very very good - esp because of all of the stuff it does NOT have in it. I hope the manufacturer fixes this issue. If you want a pump dispenser, you should not have to unscrew the product to get to the cream at the bottom. That would just be wasteful for us, as consumers. I hope they can fix it.

I've had this delivered every 3 months as a Subscribe and Save for quite a while since my partner uses it every day, plus after showers. This is one of the few Subscribe and Save items I never have to skip- a handy little bonus. Amazon’s suggestions for how often things should be delivered can be wildly off- do I need a new phone case every 4 months? It's a tiny success for the Subscribe and Save department. I've bought this on Amazon 17 times. It has never been sealed because they don't waste plastic by sending the pump lid separately. It's *always* in a plain white, relatively lightweight box- yay! They don't waste energy by printing something that doesn't need it. Regarding broken containers- I've never had one break. That’s not a product problem - that’s a shipping issue. Don’t ding a good product because you have a careless carrier. I can't remember having a container of anything I ordered from Amazon - or anywhere else- break. I can't imagine worrying about contamination of the rest. OTOH, I don't assume something purchased by weight has been opened between the manufacturer and my door so someone could steal 200 g because it settled, and the container doesn't look full. I can't visualize a den of malted milk or brewer's yeast thieves bothering with that kind of thing, especially when I know powders compact when shaken, although dozens of reviewers think they do. Vanicream strikes me as a virtually neutral product. It doesn't have a scent; it's plain white and thick. It may have some kind of opacifier- some lotions can end up semi-translucent with a grey tinge, which can be aesthetically off-putting. It seems to go on smoothly and is absorbed rapidly enough that I’ve never found streaks of it on his clothes. To promote the moisturizing capacity of any lotion, cream, body butter, etc., it helps to start with damp skin. You're not attempting to put oils into your skin - you're applying a barrier to keep your skin hydrated. I dry off as minimally as I can when my skin feels dry. I live in a high xeric zone, so dry skin is given around here. As with any product, especially with sensitive or irritated skin it’s a good idea to proceed carefully. The first 2 ingredients- water and petrolatum- are non-comedogenic, but the others could cause problems for sensitive or reactive skin.
