I recently got the Viking Revolution Beard Brush and Comb Set, and it’s been perfect for keeping my beard neat and well-groomed. The natural boar bristle brush works great at distributing oils and keeping stray hairs in check, while the pear wood comb glides through smoothly without snagging. Play Video Overall I had modest expectations when I first saw this set on Prime Day but for the price of apx $8 I thought it was worth a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with all that came in the package as well as the overall quality. Beech Wood Boar Bristle Beard Brush: the main attraction of the package. The bristles brush I would consider more of a medium firmness. The brush would be idead for a hair length of medium to low facial hair. It work well and I hope it has a good of a longevity as my previous brush. Pear Wood Beard Comb: at first I had my reservations but this grooming tool is a more universal use tool. I feel that this will work for a wider group of people with different lengths since it has two widths to allow for better grooming of thicker and thinner beards. This piece has a great sturdiness and feel great in hand. It's aesthetically pleasing and would be easy to carry in pocket for everyday use. Grooming Scissors: these scissors were much better than expected. They have a nice feel in hand and cut well. My only complaint is that I wish they were slight less tightened at the pin as it makes the scissors bow out just past that point so when you need to clip it needs to be closed to the end. Velvet Travel Bag: a nice extra addition to add for the all of your carrying needs. A simple drawstring bag to carry all of your grooming products.

First off, as far as the picture I posted, everything in photo was included except the beard balm by Reuzel. (Bought it separately and did not know I was going to use photo in review) The main 2 items, the pearl wood comb and boar bristle brush. Comb: it seems to be very sturdy, fits in the palm of my hand (I have seen reviews starting it was too big or made cheeply, simply not true) Brush: simple construction, wood handle with holes and hair seated in them. It works very well for quickly grabbing the hairs that are curling back into the skin and allowing them to grow. It may prevent future irritation to skin because of this. Like with any brush, bristles will fall out. This is expected. (I have been seeing reviews of people having bristles fall out in sink, to get to this level of loss, it was either a one off or them were using something like the comb running thru the bristles to exaggerate the bristles lost.) Now for extras in box, scissors and bag. They do have scissors that come with it, and as you can imagine, they are not the greatest. It is very nice to have it in the kit though. The bag is simple and covers items for easy carrying. Like I stated in the beginning, the balm is not included, just a photo I took to show someone what I got and decided to use it for the review. The comb and brush work the balm in very well and help spread it under the beard on the skin. Someone like me having short nails, this helps a lot. In conclusion, this was very nice for under $10.

High quality brush and comb. Also comes with small trimming scissors and a pouch to keep it all in. Overall very satisfied, it’s just what I wanted at a good price point

EDITED: After seeing my original review, a Viking Revolution customer service rep reached out and made a generous offer to rectify the situation. Kudos to them! I do hope that they resolve the issue with the plastic--not wood-- beard comb. Item description says the beard comb is made of pear wood, but it's clearly made of plastic. Not a big deal as the brush is really nice and the scissors work well, but VR really needs to post a truthful item description.....

Perfect brush & comb, excellent quality, a great new step in my daily care. Bristles on the brush feel a tad rough but should soften out the more you use it. I appreciated the comb being 2 sided for different hair lengths/thickness.

You get what you paid for $10. The comb I don't really think is made out of wood, just like the box looks like wood. Is it also wood? lol. But it's okay. It does its job and fits in my hand pretty well. The scissors are awful, very cheap, not worth using, sort of makes me mad, it's another waste for our earth. The brush is pretty good, very stiff bristles.

This was an impulse buy, as I usually don't feed into the "beard" industry. But i lost my car comb and thought "F it, I'll try it." I'm glad I did. The brush and comb are perfect, and the scissors are a good little set. The bag is handy, but the quality sucks and the strings clogged up my brush, so I deep sixed it. Great little set for the price.

Beard brush might be good but the scissor is very very poor quality. I guess you can go for it and be patient but if you re a person who wants easy and trustworthy grooming friends, I would wander around to find my favorite grooming tools before ending up here.
