These worked so well. They're so easy to use, unlike brushing which I've tried a million different ways. They seem to be easy to chew, not too thick, and the dogs must love the taste because they get so excited to have them. I only give them one to two times a week and my dogs teeth are noticably whiter. My 4-year old had minor tartar build up that is now completely gone after using this just a handful of times. Highly recommend, worth the price IMO.

My Yorkie pretty much LIVES to receive her Veggiedent treat each day! When I pull out the bag, she starts running in circles with excitement, even though she's usually a picky eater. She puts the treat between her paws and then gnaws on it. When it's time to do her yearly dental cleaning, my vet says her teeth usually just have a small amount of plaque. I do brush her teeth at least once a week, but I have trouble with getting in the back, so these treats help with controlling plaque in the hard-to-read areas. Veggiedent treats are also plant-based and hypoallergenic, so they're usually acceptable for dogs with allergies or sensitive stomachs. The treats also contain breath-freshening extracts, like pomegranate. Lastly, I try to get VOHC-accepted products for my dog, because VOHC is an independent organization that evaluates pet dental products for their effectiveness in plaque and tartar control. The prices have gone up on this product, sadly, but my dog would honestly never forgive me if she didn't get these each day, so I continue to buy them! If you need to for financial reasons, you could cut these in half or give them every other day.

UPDATE: Was so excited to receive these however finally open the package after just barely a couple weeks of receiving and there were white worms. I immediately took the bag out and threw it in the dumpster. Came inside and contacted Amazon because it is a rather expensive product. Amazon would not replace or refund without a picture! Who the heck is going to stop and grab their phone and take pictures of bugs of worms that are scurrying about? Most of us would just get that product right out of the house and into the trash just like I did. Now they are telling me there is nothing they can do without a picture because it is a non-refundable item! Can't wait to contact the Department of Health about this! That is my next call right now!!!!!!! Honestly, when I clean, it's like I'm overturning a cemetery throughout my house. My dog never eats bones I buy her (maybe a million dollars worth now), but buries them everywhere!!! Yet, I still buy them. To be fair, she does like the Greenies too & although they're highly recommended, these here are rated higher. And soooo healthy, vet recommended! Double win... she EATS them too!! Win!

We have been using theses for our dogs for years now and are very happy with them. ITs one of my dogs' favorite times of the day when they get these dental treats. We like knowing that they are highly recommended by vets and are good for our dogs and well as for their teeth. We do not plan to stop buying these anytime soon.

My dog hates me brushing his teeth so thought I would try these bones after reading the reviews! I should have taken before and after pics! I do not usually leave reviews but I insisted on this writing this! VERY impressed with the results in such a short period of time! HIGHLY recommend!
