I placed this topper over a firm mattress that had given me very poor sleep. This topper has totally transformed the mattress from unusable to extremely comfortable. I’m getting a better nights sleep now. The topper was easy to install and is easy to clean. It does not slip and I do not have any issues with odor. The return policy and warranty are impressive. Before you throw away that too firm mattress try this option.

I grew up thinking mattress toppers were for old people whose bedrooms smelled like a nest. Swore I'd never use one. Well, I'm not old, (and my bedroom smells like sandalwood) but I have had several back and joint injuries from a hard-lived life, and my husband can say the same. We aren't spring chickens, and are still very active, but our rock-hard Sterns and Foster top of the line support mattress has become just a little TOO rock hard the last couple of years. Neither one of us has slept comfortably in a long time, but we both need a really, really firm mattress due to old injuries. He suggested I find us a good topper (since doubling up thickly quilted mattress pads wasn't doing anything) and I reluctantly agreed to try. I started reading reviews and after zeroing in on this one's unique two-piece construction, and reading several thoughtful reviews, I decided to give it a try knowing we'd return it promptly if it didn't meet our expectations. We got it on 6/6/23 and put it on the bed the next day after letting it fluff up from shipping. We've been sleeping on it for about 5 weeks now, so I'm confident in this review. First, NO SMELL whatsoever off the thing straight out of the package. I have a sensitive nose, so this was a great relief. It is a bit of a challenge to wrestle the whole thing into place the first time, but once it's on it doesn't walk around--it stays completely put. We are both restless sleepers, so that's saying something. We have both slept better in the last 5 weeks than we have in the last 5 years...it's that good. Virtually no hip, shoulder, or back pain for either of us now. And it is so doggone comfortable that it's actually hard for this morning person to resist lying in just a "liiiiiiiiitle" bit longer before launching my day now. Seriously. It's like sleeping on a firm, yet billowy cloud that supports the old bones, but coddles the muscles with luxurious, plushy, fluffy, soft deliciousness. Well worth the money, and then some. If your firm bed is too hard, do yourself a favor and invest in this delightful addition to your bedding ensemble. You. Will. Not. Regret. It.

Play Video I wasn’t sure this was going to work for me, but I tried it. It arrived in a pretty large box, but it wasn’t too heavy to move up stairs, it was pretty easy to unpack and lay out on the bed. I definitely let it lay out for at least 24 hours maybe even 36 if I can remember right. The foam part inflated a little bit after it was put on, then the white topping seemed a bit baggy, but it was ok because it fit great over my deep mattress with the topper. I am overall impressed. It’s extremely comfortable. It’s like sleeping in a cloud! It helps my nerve pain in my legs. I am just curious as to how long the foam with hold up. Overall it was a great price for the king size mattress topper, and I will hopefully be buying another one for another bed that we own. 12/3/24— Update—— so weirdly enough I wrote this review above right when I put the mattress topper on my bed in August 2024 and was pretty much obsessed with it but now here we are not even six months later I think it’s actually been four months and every time I lay on the mattress topper it’s sunken in where I lay, I do expect it to happen but my back pain is back so clearly this is not working anymore, but it was good while it lasted I guess . I have rotated it two times since I put it on and it still sunken in an enough to Cause me back discomfort. Unfortunately I will not be keeping it that long.

I have waited 5 months to leave a review. I wanted to make sure that all the bad reviews I read here were real or false. I have degenerative disc disease so I couldn't sleep in my bed with my husband anymore. I was sleeping in a recliner in the living room. I sell on eBay so I had an eBay room. With much discussion with my husband, we cleaned out my eBay room got me a hospital bed off of Facebook Marketplace and I finally ordered this mattress topper. Now it is important to tell you that I spent months researching mattress toppers. I read the good reviews and the bad. If I saw a common thread in the bad reviews then I didn't even think about going with that topper. Then I saw the video that Arzante posted with his 5-star review. I took a second look at this topper again. It was now at the top of my list. I received the topper a few days before my room was ready. So I was able to lay it out for a few days prior to sleeping on it. One thing I saw in several reviews on a lot of toppers was that there was a horrible chemical smell. Mine had no odor at all. That was the first thing I did when we got it opened was to take a big sniff and I didn't smell anything bad. I am a woman in my early 50s and I have horrible hot flashes. I also weigh over 250 pounds. I think it is important for you to know this for the second part of my review. I have read a lot of reviews complaining of the foam making them hot during the night or the foam flattened when used. This is why I wanted to wait 5 months to leave my review. I wanted to make sure I gave YOU accurate information. August in Iowa is unpleasant to begin with, but when you throw hot flashes into the mix it can be downright miserable. My wonderful husband put in a ceiling fan and a window air conditioner in my room. Along with an atomic clock that tells me the temperature in the room and what it is outside. I didn't have much trouble with being hot when sleeping with the topper. I was even using cotton sheets. Now it is Winter in Iowa. There are a few things I have figured out during my 5 months with my topper. Tencel or bamboo sheets are a must-have for those who run hot when they sleep. After the window air conditioner was taken out I did start waking up hot and had to uncover for a while. I am still using the ceiling fan and it helps. This is where the atomic clock comes in. I have also closed the vent in my room to our boiler so I get very little heat in my room. I prefer to go to bed when my room is at around 65 degrees. At times I wake up and my room is 71 - 73 degrees. Most days it is 69 degrees. With a room that cool and bamboo sheets I get chilled when I go to bed, but within minutes I am warmed up and perfectly comfortable. These are some of the things that I do to make sure my foam topper stays in good condition. At least once a month we strip the bed and flip the topper and make sure that what was at my feet is now at my head and the top is now the bottom. The topper is inspected for creases, rips, or tears. I have yet to find one. We also switch the hospital mattress from foot to head and vice versa. One of the things I was worried about using a foam topper was using an adjustable hospital bed. My head and feet are raised. What is this doing to the foam topper? Nothing. It is perfectly fine. This is important to know. When you wash the padded mattress cover DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!!! Let it air dry. We read the instructions and dried it on low and it seems to have shrunk a little bit. In width not in length. It is about an inch narrower on both sides now. This isn't a huge deal, I don't sleep on the edge of the bed. Also, twin XL sheets are not going to fit perfectly on this bed. We got straps that make the sheets tighter. Deep pocket sheets are not your friend with a hospital bed. This is my take on this topper. It is comfortable. I do feel like I am being cradled when sleeping. I don't move much in my sleep as it is a twin bed and when it is adjusted it is hard to sleep on your side unless you flatten the bed more. My back and hip pain has diminished. It will never go away fully, but I don't have to wrap a heating pad around my lower back for an hour after getting up just to be able to move. This is not a firm topper, nor is it is super soft. I guess for me I am Goldilocks and I found the one that is just right. At the end of the day, it is about your preference. This is perfect for me and if I ever need to replace this topper I will be buying this same one again.

This was the perfect solution to my back issues, and also saved me from having to invest in a whole new mattress. The quilted cover was an added bonus! Very happy with this mattress topper!

Not firm at all but it does bounce back well. Definitely would have preferred a firmer piece of foam. I've also had this mattress in open air for 2 weeks and it still smells. I will give it one more week otherwise I will return it.

It is a great product we love it. As expected though the smell although not strong still took a week to away.
