I kept cringing whenever I had to go in and out of a room next to my toddler since the door was so squeaky. I sprayed this on the hinges and it fixed the problem right away. I did tuck a piece of paper towel under each hinge since it was dripping down a metallic/rusty type of color off of them after spraying. Other than that no issues and easy to use. I did do it while the kids were sleeping since I’m not so sure if it’s great to be breathing in but odor was gone in the am.

WD40 is an excellent product and good to have for many different reasons. I just always have it on hand for one of the unexpected reasons. My gardening sheers were left outside for months. When I found them they were very rusty and didn't work properly. But I washed and dried them, sprayed them down with WD40 and left them in a zip lock bag for a few nights and they are as good as new.

It’s the standard all other lubricants must be measured by. The “Industrial” can is sadly, the only one without the BS flip up spray top. So that why I buy it.
