It only comes with one filter, which is no big deal but it might need to be replaced eventually. The whiskey glasses are premium quality and are nice and thick. I think this is another addition that sets this kit apart from others. The sphere ice cube molds work pretty well. I have to run water over them to get them loose enough to pull apart, but no big deal. I recommend freezing several ahead of time so you can store them. The kit did not come with ice cube tongs, so it can be tricky to get ice into the glass without making a mess. There is a good variety of wood chips with this kit. The differences between the wood types are very subtle. The lighter is of premium quality as well. You will need to buy the butane separately however, which is only about $4 on Amazon. Overall, this kit is great. The value is outstanding compared to some of the higher priced brands on the market. You will definitely take entertaining your guests to the next level!

When I tried to use the kit, after filling the torch with propane, I noticed that it wasn't functioning (no gas flow). I saw the card that included instructions to contact them via email in case of any issues. They responded extremely quickly (within less than an hour) and said that they would be happy to send me a replacement lighter, but that it would take 10-15 days. They gave me the option to order another lighter from Amazon for which they would issue me a refund. I ordered a new torch and sent them the order info, and in less than a day, they issued me a refund for the full amount of the torch I purchased. Their customer service was excellent and by far exceeded my expectations. The kit itself works great and I've been able to make some great tasting smoked old fashioned cocktails using it. I highly recommend this product.

I searched many smoker kits and this one seemed to be a great value with what comes with the kit. Torch feels pretty solid and of good quality. I like the 6 varieties of flavor chips. Getting the ice ball molds was a plus since I already have an On the Rocks ice ball mold that makes 5. And of course a couple more glasses never hurts. The only thing I think should be added that I would like to have more of is more filters. As they get used more I assume the mesh will probably burn away so it would be nice to have a few of them. A small scoop for the chips and maybe a brush to clean the filter would be beneficial but wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I really like the barrel design. It only seems fitting that the top is a bourbon barrel. Nice design and quality. The top of the barrel is magnetic so it is secure. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it. It gets 4 stars from me as I do recommend it, however it would perfect for me and I would give 5 stars if it had those few items I suggested but I am definitely happy with my purchase.

I purchased this smoker for my husband's birthday. He loved it! I'll try to go over the highlights of this item for others contemplating purchasing this item: 1) Easy to use. There are 2 ways to use the smoker: Either with your drink of choice poured into the glass, OR you can smoke the inside of the glass first, then pour your drink into the glass after. My husband chose to use the method of the whiskey in the glass and then added the smoke. 2) My husband chose the Pear wood shavings for his first sample drink. Although he said it did add some of the smokey flavor, it was very mild. 3) Easy to clean and store. The packaging has been well thought out. Everything arrived in one piece. Some of the suggestions to this item (not bad, just some notes): 1) When choosing your wood chips "flavor" for your various whiskey's, the fruit flavored chips seem to work best with the lighter whiskey's. The darker the whiskey, the less you can taste the fruity smoke. The "wood" flavors-walnut, oak, etc.-might pair better with the darker whiskey's. [NOTE: My husband started with a darker whiskey with the Pear wood chips. He could barely make out the fruit notes. His second sample glass, he drank a lighter whiskey with the Pear wood chips. That "pairing,"-pun intended-worked out best. Hence my comment on trying the walnut or oak chips with the darker whiskey.] 2) On the first use, the chips didn't burn all the way, despite following the directions to the letter. On the second "sample," my husband kept the torch on the chips longer than the recommended time. The chips burned thoroughly and properly. 3) The 2 ice ball molds are specifically for the glasses included in the gift box. We already had ice ball molds for other glasses, but those are too big for the 2 glasses with this kit. 4) No. The torch doesn't come with butane in it!!! We assume that this is due to postal regulations. If you plan on purchasing this item, make sure you have butane on hand so when your item arrives, you're not stuck without being able to use your torch. No complaints about this product. Easy to use. Checked off all the boxes for the whiskey lover in my life!

Awesome whiskey smoker set. The wood chips smell great, absolutely enhances the taste of the whiskey, very easy to use. The glasses and ice ball sets are very nice.

This is gorgeous! I bought it for my hubby, he loves it. The quality is amazing. The taste ..I didn't taste it( I'm not a drinker) but the smell... yummy 💯 perfect

Christmas gift for my husband -- he absolutely LOVES it! He said 4.5 stars, deducting .5 star because he finds the igniter inconsistent. Overall, though, he is really enjoying this set. A substantial amount of wood chips -- great infusions! (He's surprised at how much he likes pear.) Hubby says it takes his Manhattans to a whole new level :) The ball-shaped ice molds sent him over the top (once he was told what they were). A quality set -- I would definitely recommend!

Just received a package today to find out the lighter is not working, even after trying to fill with some butane still not working. Contacted the company and it was replace within 48 hrs . It works awesome
