Can't believe how LARGE this is- more than enough for my needs (I'd estimate large enough to hold at least a month's worth of frozen food). Glad I didn't get the 3 cubic feet one. It holds MUCH more than the photo (or video) suggests (more below). Well-packed, in perfect shape. Indeed, as the instructions assert, if the freezer isn't level the door doesn't stay closed. I'd never done this before, have poor manual dexterity and it took me quite a while to adjust the feet on each side, using a level horizontally and vertically (checking the side to side tilt and the front-to-back). It wasn't difficult, but it required time and patience. The instructions say turn each foot (two at the front corners) to the right to lower, to the left to raise, which confused me a bit but it translates to counter-clockwise to lower, clockwise to raise. Once I finally got it level (I have a wonky surface in my travel trailer), the door closed tight. At one point I tried locking the door with the key and THAT did the trick, so if it ever becomes an issue (like when traveling) nice to have a surefire method for ensuring that the door remains closed. Note- I got it all situated, THEN read the part about initially setting the temperature knob to 5, the highest it will go, so had to pull it out again and set it (see photo of the back- the white round dial on the left). SO, all ready to go, plugged it in, and put in an ice cube tray of water. It took less than TWO hours to freeze solid! (I read reviews of other freezers that said it took overnight for ice to freeze initially). To give you an idea of what can fit in the freezer (I experimented), it can hold 39 full-size Banquet TV dinners + 2 smaller packages, like Lean Cuisines, + 4 small frozen juice containers + 8 smallish burritos, like Don Jose's. I've checked repeatedly, and regarding a large bag of ice, there's none of that slightly melting and then re-freezing again, which results in ice that's congealed cubes and requires an icepick (my house fridge does that). Ice cubes remain frozen solid and separate, and ice cream is as hard as a rock, the way I like it. [UPDATE: The thing about the ice not slightly melting I've found is only true if you keep the ice on the bottom shelf. If you place it on the top shelf it does slightly melt, requiring an ice pick. But ice cream kept on the top shelf is always rock hard, as is other frozen food, so it seems the effect is slight and of little consequence, my house fridge/freezer does the same thing. I've kept chicken, fish, etc. frozen on the top shelf for months at a time, no ill effects whatsoever and cooks up fresh. Also, for what it's worth, we had a power outage of 10 hours and everything still seemed to be frozen solid. After five months of use still LOVE the freezer.] I was unable to upload the video of the freezer from the Whynter site for some reason, you can go there to see it (but it also shows those little containers/cartons of Haagen Dazs-type icecream, which don't provide an accurate impression of how MUCH it holds). You can also download the owner's manual (note: the freezer is listed under refrigerators, for some reason). FYI, the owner's manual states that the freezer draws 75 watts, .88 amps. It comes with a small paper sticker on the front that removes easily after soaking for a few minutes with dishwashing lotion. So quiet, you can barely tell when it's running. And it's BEAUTIFUL. Couldn't be happier with this freezer! If it malfunctions or dies I'll update my review.

This little freezer really works! I was hesitant because I bought it after I went to the store and got too many frozen goods to fit in my main freezer. It makes a slight humming noise which you’ll barely notice unless you’re right next to it. We plugged it in for a couple of hours before using it, and it took roughly 24-48 hours to get to the perfect temp. It’s fully stocked, so putting in less items so that you allow proper airflow is suggested. I’m highly pleased with this product!

I’ve bought this freezer for almost 4 months. It works well and fits perfectly to a little dining corner of my apartment. Except from little bit of ice forming at the second shelf, I never have any problems with this freezer. It makes quiet noise just to let me know that it’s still working fine. I’m happy with my purchase overall.

When the freezer came, the door didn't close all the way. Even after leveling it via the legs it still didn't close. After taking the door off, we were able to see that the hinge that it was on had the post bent. I contacted Whynter who sent me a replacement hinge (it took about 12 days from the time I opened the case until the replacement part came - there was a holiday weekend in there). Luckily, this resolved the problem and I can now use my freezer. It has been in use about 2 days and there is already frost gathering on the ceiling of the freezer. It also makes a constant faint buzzing sound which is manageable but not ideal. It does fit more than I expected and it works for what I need - some extra freezer space, so overall, I am excited with my purchase.

We have always struggled to find space for all our frozen items and have been in the market for a small addition. After a LOT of searching we finally decided on this one because it fit all our needs and we wouldn’t have to wait a week to get (or pay ridiculous delivery fees for it). It arrived with no dents, scratches or issues and, let me tell you, this thing gets really cold! So far we have really enjoyed having this freezer and it looks really nice 😁 Due to our lack of space- it is now doubled as an end table as you can see in the pictures. I highly recommend this appliance

We bought this freezer as recommended by the NY state VFC program to replace the power guzzling Thermo Scientific Revco ULT ($8K+) freezer. This Whynter freezer serves the purpose and meets all vaccine storage guidelines mandated by the state. After turning it on and monitoring the temperature for the past 3 days, it has been consistently maintaining a temperature of -24.3° C. The vaccine requires a range of -20° C to -15° C whereas this freezer maintains well below it. We are a pediatric practice that administers vaccine via VFC program. This freezer is an excellent cost effective option and pediatrics office does not requires ULT monsters. The price on Amazon was very competitive and arrived on time in a good package as promised as part of the prime shipment. I would strongly recommend other pediatric offices to try this freezer before trying other brands. I am sure this will last for sometime. See the attached picture with state provided temperature monitor.

This seems to be a higher quality small freezer than the other 1.1 cubic feet freezers on Amazon. It's the only one I've seen that was energy star rated. It also comes with a thoughtful defrost rack, and an ice scraper. It is a very quiet freezer. The freezer i bought was defective, and I didn't discover it until after the Amazon return period ended. I called the company that makes the freezer, and, to their credit, they sent me a new freezer.

I live in a small place and fits perfect enough to keep it inside a cabinet. It's super cold, freezes all type of food: shrimp, fish, meat, chicken, beverages, etcetera. I would recommend it always.

I get bad migraines and having to go downstairs to get an ice pack (especially in summer) was becoming difficult. This freezer is nice and compact and means that I have ice packs at the ready whenever a migraine strikes.

It is very small but sufficient for my purpose (until the stay-home order started !!). I place it on top of my Danby mini fridge and the pair looks very neat, since both have the stainless steel look. The only downside is that it frosts over within a week. I defrosted it. It frosted up again. So I just leave it as is, frost and all.
