This is my first time trying Yerba Mate, though I’ve been hearing about it for years. I wfh and every day around 1-3pm I experience a crash after lunchtime. I’m trying to cut down on my coffee intake (bc I put waayy to much sugar in it) so I decided to give this a try. I liked the promise of energy without the jitters. Honestly, I’ve been drinking this tea with my lunch for the past three days and I have felt SO energized and focused after lunch. Which again, is unusual but a welcome change. I’ve been able to power through the latter half of my day without taking a nap, and I’m 100% sold now. I like to enjoy it over ice. I actually dilute it quite a bit - 1 scoop to 16oz of water and ice. The tea comes powdered and it’s sweetened with cane sugar and stevia so keep this is mind. I personally prefer unsweetened tea, so this yerba mate is a little on the sweet side for me. If you like southern iced sweet tea this will be perfect for you. (Didn’t subtract any stars, bc it’s a personal preference) There’s 30 servings in the bag, and it factors out to about $1.50 USD per serving (at my time of purchase) which is way less than a drink at your local coffee shop. All in all, I think this a wonderful value for your money. I would definitely recommend!
