It's a great fit. The fabric is very soft and doesn't chafe when you are wearing a tank top. I purchased the 30lb vest. It is a bit much, so I'm going to buy the 20lb as well. The weight is distributed fairly well. After a bit it does start to weigh on the tops of your shoulders. If you are going to pack this kind of weight I'd recommend something that has hip support as well, like a tru RukSak, or a backpacking pack with weight in it. I've also been using it in the gym when I do squats and lunges. Not having to hold weight in my hands has made it easier to balance. I am 5'9" and have broad shoulders. this fit well with plenty of room to adjust. I could see if you were very petite this would swim on you. Overall for the price point I am pleased. The yucky smell went away after a couple days.

The ease of use for the best is very simple. The stitching quality is great! It has enhanced my workout value in an amazing way!! The mobility is as expected and functionality for exactly as expected but better! Running with this vest is great. It doesn’t flop around, nor smash my ladies. I purchased this vest to enhance my workouts. I wear the vest lifting weights, going out for a walk with my dogs, or for a run. This vest is very comfortable. I love the fact that it has a holder for my cell phone and earbuds in case I want to take my earbuds out. I could also carry my keys in the small pocket or a credit card and ID. Since I have started wearing this vest, I’ve been getting compliments from my chiropractor. He asked what I changed in my workout regimen because he said my back is a lot more muscular than it was before. I have been working at building the strength of my core and back for a while now, but it wasn’t until I purchased this weighted vest that I actually started to notice a significant improvement. You need this! You’re gonna want this! Don’t go without it!

This vest is comfortable and fits well and is definitely benefiting my walks. However, I cannot get over the strong smell. I’ve been using it for about three weeks and the smell is not dissipating at all. The worst part is that the smell lingers on my clothes after I’ve taken it off. I really hope that the smell will eventually go away. I am storing it on my back porch for now because I smell it every time I’m close to it. Hopefully being outside will help get rid of the smell too.

This is a great quality vest! It is very easy to use and super comfortable. The fit is perfect. It is very durable and easy to use.

I really like this weighted vest; I am 58 years old and bought the 20lb not knowing what to expect. The fit is great, and it definitely added to my work out. I walk (run) 3+ miles 5 days a week and wear it while I plank and lift weights. The one drawback is the weight isn't adjustable so when you get used to the weight you can't add more to the vest. The quality is good, it's comfortable (weight evenly distributed) and really adds to a workout and is supposed to help with bone density. If you never have used one, I suggest going slow and controlled while putting it on.

I've been using this for a week to add to my walking routine and around the house for chores. Very easy to take on and off. I went with the 8 lb option, seems accurate to weight. Good quality material with rejectors incase it is worn during darker hours. I like the pouch that can't with it, although I haven't used it yet I will when it warms up and I can wear it outside to hold my phone and keys.

I ordered the black 30 lb. version of this vest and couldn’t be happier. It is exactly as described and included the cell phone pouch that several other reviews have claimed it doesn’t. I have used it everyday for the past week doing circuit training and hiking. All of the seams/stitching are strong and the overall build quality of the vest appears to be excellent. Over time and use I suspect the elasticized fabric that connects the front and back of the vest will degrade, at which point some gorilla tape will be your friend (it wouldn’t be the first time I used gorilla tape to reinforce a compromised connection). There was the slightest hint of a rubbery smell when the vest was first unpackaged which has since disappeared. For those reviewers that claimed the vest smelled like gasoline, chemicals, garbage, or some other pollutant; caused nausea, teary eyes, skin irritation and a host of other symptoms or; leaked the pellets that make up the weight of the vest, maybe the other weight styles of this vest (8,12, 20 etc) had a bad production run or the shipment was compromised during travel. I do not know. What I do know is that I did not experience any of those things with the 30 lb. version. My overall experience is exactly what I expected it to be- to purchase a high quality weighted vest at a reasonable price and use it to maintain and improve my physical fitness.

Seems to be made well and the weight is distributed evenly. Comfortable to wear - I’ve worn it up to 30 minutes while walking vigorously. I am 40yo, 5’10 and weigh 138lbs for reference, and I bought a 16lb vest. I am in decent shape and work out regularly, and this weight felt appropriate for me. Don’t know that going heavier would feel comfortable on my shoulders because they’re thin. I’ve had the vest for about a month, but the chemical smell hasn’t really subsided. It’s bad enough that it does somewhat interfere with my desire to use it. I’m hoping it’ll wear off soon. In the meantime, I may wear it for shorter fitness endeavors such as pull-up, push-ups, etc.

2025 is the year to get fit. I bought this to use while walking on my walking pad. There is no chemical smell to it, which is nice. It is a good weight (I got the 16lb one) and it is heavy. It would be better if you could adjust the weight on it. I like that it has a phone holder on it. It is easy to use and adjust the straps to make it fit well. I have only used it a couple of times so far, but it has enhanced my workout.

Nice walk companion, adds a bit of resistance. It feels very high quality and the reflective stripes on it make me feel safe on night walks.

I wanted a weighted vest to help me keep calm and focus. The market for adult vests is quite niche. I ordered the 4lb vest because I wanted to keep the impact on my shoulders less. It feels like wearing a backpack with a few books in it. I am a smaller person so the front clip was a good fit, but for larger chest sizes the vest strap my not fit. The extra phone strap thing is cool. The zippers clink together and make noise, so I covered on in tape. Would not recommend using while jumping.
