This is a great robot. There is a learning curve but every issue I had in the beginning was “user error”. Called customer service once & she was patient with me and got me to the option I needed.

Love, love, love this. If I could just keep it online, I'd love it even more. It does a SUPER job. I think it's my internet. Don't let that sway you from purchasing. My dog is in transit so tomorrow will be the real test.

It’s only ran once but it ran several times around the whole house. Battery life is great. Didn’t get stuck on anything either. So far, love it.

I have had other vacuum robots like the roomba that did not do a good job, would get stuck, would just spin in circles. This vacuum is absolutely incredible! The app is easy to figure out and it’s cool to see exactly where the robot vacuumed and mopped. It maps the floor easily, and creates separate maps for other floors. Honestly I am just so happy.. I have two dogs and a cat and it was so difficult to keep up with cleaning all the dog hair everyday. Now I come home to a clean floor and it’s great. Also it looks sleek and beautiful tucked in the corner of my house. You won’t regret purchasing this :)

Play Video My First Experience with the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 As someone new to advanced robot vacuums, my first impression of the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 is nothing short of amazing. Previously, I used first-generation robot vacuums from brands like Shark and Roomba, which could only clean one room at a time. I always wished for a machine that could self-unload garbage, self-charge, and continue cleaning without my intervention. Well, now I have it, and I'm impressed! The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 excels at cleaning multiple rooms, both vacuuming and mopping. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: Setting up the machine was straightforward, thanks to the included instructions. Downloading the app and starting the vacuum was easy, though mastering the app may take some time. Here are some tips from my experience: For the first use, clear the floor of obstacles like wires and other items to help the machine create an accurate map. Use the app's map function to create a map. It generated a precise map of my entire floor in about 10 minutes. After creating the general map, use the app's "no-go zone" and partitions features to define your rooms. The app offers a global clean function, which cleans all mapped rooms, and allows for customized cleaning by room (e.g., vacuum only in the living room, vacuum and mop in the kitchen). You can choose between global cleaning sessions or customized room cleaning, which I find very convenient. The app includes features to increase suction on carpets/rugs or avoid them while mopping. The battery life is impressive, allowing the vacuum to clean and mop three rooms with battery left. It also auto-detects rugs and prompts for confirmation. All the parts are of high quality and the design is thoughtful in the sense to remove part's and put them back easily, such as dust bag and cover, water tanks, etc A few things to note: There will be additional costs for the cleaning solution, mopping pads, and dust filter. At this price point, an extra pair of mop pads would have been appreciated, as the ones included are thin and may wear out quickly with frequent use. With so many features and competition in the market, it's essential to understand your needs, do your research, and then make a purchase. Overall, I'm thrilled with the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and highly recommend it for its efficiency and convenience. If you are wondering what is the difference between L10s Ultra Gen 2 and L10s Ultra then here they are differences between the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and the Dreame L10s Ultra: Obstacle Avoidance: Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2: Uses LiDAR and cross laser technology for navigation and obstacle detection. Dreame L10s Ultra: Equipped with an AI camera (RGB-color camera and structured light sensor) for real-time hazard avoidance. Cleaning Solution: Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2: Has a cleaning solution cartridge in its docking station for automatic mixing of detergent. Dreame L10s Ultra: Requires manual mixing of detergent. Dust Bag Cover: Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2: Features a brushed metal dust bag slot cover. Dreame L10s Ultra: Has a plastic dust bag slot cover. Mopping: Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2: Uses cold water for mopping. Dreame L10s Ultra: Uses hot water for mopping, which can be more effective for sanitizing mop pads. Hope my review helps you decide if this is a good buy for your needs or not.

Play Video The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 gets going quick, but there are a couple of flaws worth mentioning with this self-emptying robot vacuum. First off, the baseline for this review: I've had a handful of robot vacuums over the years, starting with a Roomba. More recently, I've come to like my Eufy Omni S1 Pro. It mops, self-empties, and has considerable power. I've also had mopping robots that don't self-empty, mostly no-name brands. What I'm looking for in one of these is ease of setup, solid object avoidance, good mapping, and sufficient suction/cleaning ability. Let's start with setup for the L10s Ultra Gen2. It was a breeze for the most part. Everything is pretty much intuitive, both with the robot and base station. The app wasn't hard to get going either - you have two options, scan a barcode, or download the Dreamehome app from the app store and set things up manually. I took the manual option just to try it, and it was still very straight forward. The only question mark during setup was adding cleaner: per the instructions, cleaner goes in a separate reservoir from the clean water tank. That's fine, though I don't love that you actually pour it in since it could (and did) lead to spillage. In comparison, other brands have you just seat a bottle of cleaner in the base station without having to pour cleaner into a separate reservoir. That's livable, but things soon got confusing. The bottle of cleaner included by Dreame said to add cleaning fluid to your clean water as well as the cleaning solution reservoir - that is not listed in either the quick setup or instruction manual, and I question why you would need to do both. Perhaps the cleaning solution's packaging is written with other models in mind. Once setup was complete and the unit charged up, it was time for mapping. That was done very quickly and very accurately, giving me a solid map of five rooms (it counted a large closet as its own room but we won't fault it for that). Despite a successful mapping run, one the first cleaning run, the L10s Ultra Gen2 encountered issues. One, the mopping pads starting to pick up debris when the robot was in vacuum mode, dragging little "trails" behind it. Two, though it did not get hung up mapping, it got stuck on what I consider a small lip on the floor in room 2, a large bedroom. That lip is in the closet and I've since made it a no-go zone, but I will say that I'm not overly impressed with the unit's ability to navigate and overcome obstacles, in comparison to other robots. The app itself is similar to other robot vac apps and is pretty easy to manage for experienced users. Newbies might find it a bit of a struggle, especially when working with different modes. There are custom cleaning options, but if you're creating a schedule for the vacuum, you basically ignore your custom map and wind up creating a new one in the scheduling section of the app. Honestly that's a minor complaint though. Power wise... you have four modes on the vacuum side of things, starting with quiet, then regular, then two higher-powered options. I did my initial run at the default, regular strength and found it a bit underwhelming and opted to bump it up a notch for better results. This will presumably drain the battery faster, but depending on the size of your cleaning area that shouldn't matter. I do find that the L10s Ultra Gen2 is somewhat slower than my other robot vac, but I'm not sure that really matters. As for the mopping function, it works well enough. I'm only cleaning a very small section of ceramic tile when it comes to the mopping side of things, so for my purposes that's just fine. A spare dust bag was included with the unit, for which I'm grateful. One thing that would have been nice would be audio prompts when removing reservoirs or opening the base station. This is something my other self-emptying robot vac has - "clean water tank removed" "clean water tank inserted" etc, which lets you know you've installed things properly. It seems the L10S Ultra Gen 2 doesn't have this option. Not the end of the world. Overall I put this between 3.5 and 4 stars.

I've had a few robot vacuums now and each time I get a better one, I think 'Wow, it can't get any better than this.' But maybe now I am spoiled because I have two really, really great robot vacuums and if they were combined into one unit, they would be perfect. The other one I have is an Eufy S1. I won't get into reviewing that here, but I will say that its mopping feature cannot get into corners or under lips and edges of walls. Enter this lovely piece of machinery right here. When I saw the articulating mop brushes, I thought 'Yep, that's the ticket'. And it works incredibly. It gets further into edges and corners than any automated robot vacuum that I've seen. But it comes with its drawbacks. Because the mops extend out to the sides and because they rotate independently, I find that it often causes gaps in the mopping between the two mop heads. And you can sometimes see the swirls from the brushes on the floor. So while my Eufy doesn't get into tight spots, like around table legs, the mopping that it does do looks a lot more uniform. If either of them could incorporate both mop types, voila. Chef's kiss. One other thing that the Eufy does better than this Dreame model is brushing into corners. Not only does the square design allow it to get into corners better, it has spin brushes on both sides whereas the Dreame only has one spin brush on one side. Sometimes it doesn't get all the way into a corner and sometimes it sweeps the dirt right past itself to the other side without getting sucked up. The Eufy would grab this and bring it back to the center. Everything else about the Dreame, I think I prefer. The app is better designed and the AI is quite a bit better. The Eufy often gets stuck on things like mats, clothes and sometimes even the horizontal legs of our Ikea recliner. The Dreame skillfully navigates all of them with ease. The map is incremental, meaning that if the vacuum discovers a new area or new obstacle, it updates the map on the fly. Some of my cheaper ones needed to do a full remap of the house every time something significant changed, like an open or closed door. There are several different cleaning options, from suction intensity to water saturation. You can program each room independently and even specify how many times you want it to clean an area. You can also save custom configurations too for quick access. In all, I think this is the best robot vacuum I've used yet, but it is very, very close with the Eufy S1. I often have them working in tandem to get the best of both. If they could be combined into one unit, now that would be something.
