Installation was easy. Would recommend disconnecting old network first and keep the same network name. Unless you want to enjoy renaming all of the connected devices. The mesh network seems to eliminating network connection issues.

Great product! I had tried several extenders in my house with no luck. These worked great and were easy to set up! Finally have internet throughout my home.

did not work - after wasting hours I decided to cut the loss and return the whole thing I am not sure was that because it was a refurbished product or just design flaw but I could not get a decent signal any where - I think I will be sticking with brands like cisco or tp-link from now and wont rely on something that is not main stream quality product

My smart hub is in the master bedroom at the back of the house. This is a newly built home. Our office is in the front. We virtually had no internet reception or weak at best. After our internet was installed and after using it I was disappointed. I contact our installing company. They suggested a mesh system, which I never heard of before, for the house. I did some research. The cost range varied. After seeing the Eero system video, I thought I would give it a try. It is working great and well worth the cost. It is easy to install with the app. There were a couple of hic-ups but they were easily corrected. The one great thing is that using the Eero system, it eliminated my using my current router. The Eero is the router. I greatly recommend.

Great instructions. Easy to connect and distribute through the house. Actually have 4-5 bars on the back porch. Thanks for a great quality product!

I have a TP Link router with extenders throughout my house and i was hoping this would be the perfect upgrade replacement. Mainly because the TP Link tends to hiccup its connection often and the router (and extenders) looks like an alien spaceship. I had really high hopes but was disappointed to find out that the Eero Pro does very poorly with sending signals through walls. My internet connection is installed in my garage so getting a strong signal to the far rooms is always my mission. I tested performance with the mesh unit and TP Link extender side by side in every room of my house using multiple devices, with both gateways also side by side. Eero pro was only able to get 50-70% the ping test speeds in the rooms throughout the house. Setup was super easy and the app analytics and functions are superb. Performance was fantastic in the wide open living room but the signals just won’t get through the walls in my house without a significant decay. As much as they are an eyesore, i’ll stick with TP Link and their ridiculously large antennas for now.

My previous Eero system was bought back when the company was self-owned, i has been rock-solid reliable all along. Inspire by a handsomely reduced price offer, I decided to upgrade to a modernized and presumably improved version. Boy was I wrong! Since the Amazon takeover Eero has been transformed into crapware: a.) it nowhas a bad case of the slows, never rising above two bars (and a quick trip to Google taught me that many have had the same experience) b.) it refused to automatically accept some of my devices, such as my Alexa-friendlythermostats, onto my home network. Surprisingly I would have expected major improvements would be improved speed and tighter integration with Amazon's Alexa system, but it fails on both accounts. So I have retreated to my original Eero gear. If you can get your hands on a set, you should snap it up. But avoid this one. The team which designed the Eero mesh system originally worked for Apple, and went independent when Apple decided not to market their system. I can't help wondering how great a product it would now be if Apple had made a smarter choice. The Amazon takeover has been a tragedy, ruining a great product that might have been made even better.
