Great camera. The solar panel is a great feature, which makes it so easy to install and operate, with the obvious convenience of not having to run a power cable. The only caveat I find, is that this camera cannot integrate to Apple HomeKit. I have a few Aqara indoor cameras in my home that seamlessly do so, with the convenience of me being able to access them from my phone and even my watch in one app that also integrates smart speakers, smart lights, smart locks, and sensors. Instead, I have to access the specific app in my phone (Eufy's watch app cannot access the cameras - go figure) to then access the cameras one at a time (they do not show a live feed in the previews, but that has to do with being solar-powered - if I were to run a power cord, they might... I guess). However, it is a solid camera. Resolution is amazing, the IA tracking feature works as advertised, it's easy to setup and configure, and a all-around great camera.

I tried some Blink cameras, sent them back, and purchased this camera as a "test" camera, which performed exceptionally well. The 2K video is crisp and clear, and the pinch zoom does not pixelate like it does with the Blink. PTZ and motion tracking work well, too. My camera is 400' from the house running through a solar repeater, and where the Blink cameras barely worked (sent them back), the Eufy E30 rocks. I ordered a base, HDD, and another camera - a different Eufy model. All this and no subscription!

There are way too many cameras available, and I did the minimal amount of research before buying. So I feel I got lucky on great this camera is. Here's what I like about it: - PTZ camera that allows you to see a very wide view from left to right, and up and down. - Solar panel and battery. The app lets you toggle between the two if you need. The solar panel was easy to set up, and the extension cable provided is pretty long. But it's a USB-C so you could get a longer one if you needed. - ability to record to micro SD card - the camera is easy to mount. - relatively easy installation. It took me several tries to get it to connect but eventually it did. Could have been my fault, not sure. - Image zoom in (8x) is really good - There are 4 preset camera positions. - The iphone app is good - You can view your camera feed from anywhere through the app- not just when you are in the same location. When you are outside your network, you do need to use cell data. - There is no remote control per se, just your phone. Anyway, I really like this product and would buy another should I need to get one.

This camera is great. It will auto track people, but unfortunately it will not auto track my dog (my purpose for buying it). I know, I am asking for too much. I am using the Micro SD card. I love that it's solar. No problems in Southern California. There are some things I need to figure out, like why I am getting a 'can not sync' message. If I open the app I can see all of the captures, so I am not concerned right now about the live syncing.

Adding to my eufy collection, very good cameras with many functional features. Picture quality is great and connectivity is very well. Great when powered by wire, more features will be available.

Remember to get a SD card for the camera as it won't be able to save clips without one! Other than that it was easy to setup and connects from pretty far away! Picture quality is at 2k so it's decent and the battery always stays charged as long as it has some sun during the day!

I absolutely love this camera! Very easy and quick to install. Motion detection is great along with the quality of the videos. Has very nice features like Ai tracking. Picture quality is great. One thing is that there is a little bit of lag in the replays when the camera moves but overall not that bad. I would definitely recommend!

Camera does not detect motion like it should, misses activity and doesn’t actively record important motion. Extremely laggy in the PTZ controls despite being right next to WiFi router. Super long delay in seeing footage from recordings or playing live camera. It can take 30 seconds to a full minute for the recording to “decrypt from local storage” and most of the time it doesn’t even play, you have to close an re open the app to hopefully see the alert you just got.

Did my research online and watched many YouTube reviews, so when my Eufy SoloCam E30 arrived, I was ready. It activated with my new account effortlessly, and paired without a hitch to my smart assistant. Once it got a bit warmer, I was able to get up to the gutter and install the gutter mount for the camera. It was done in 2 minutes! The only thing I had to add was a bit of of a stabilizing foam shim between the gutter and the mount because the weight of the camera/solar panel is substantial. It works like a charm, even picking up and sending a notifiction for the arrival of the Amazon delivery man bringing me my SECOND Eufy Solocam E30 which I purchased immediately, because I was so satisfied with the first one. I have fixed security cams in place but they do not offfer the possibility of 360 degree pan as well as tilt! Great product, recommend strongly!

It really is a great camera. Tracks everything that it needs to however the solar panel is not strong enough to fully charge the camera. If it's at all busy at night it can kill the camera before next morning light gets to it.

I purchased this an unable to setup, I contacted eufy support, they replied me after 2 days and asking sr # on device, I provided that # also provided sr# from box as well. They both were same. Again they took 2 days. Now they ask me to provide video of step by step process how I am going to setup, at the end I told them I am returning the product. So I had bad experience with eufy support.
