It was finicky in the beginning, but it went fine eventually the next use. If battery is down to 25 percent, better to press pause in your Ap then it will give you the option to ‘return home.’.It will ‘finish up’ and may take a little while, but it will eventually return, then empty itself. If you run the battery out, it will die and not make it back to its port. You can then proceed to vacuuming again after it recharges.. The port hole jarred once,. The Ap will tell you that too. So I had to clear up. It was a ball of hair but was easy to remove right at the mouth of the opening. If the vacuum gets stuck in a certain area, the Ap will tell it too. Great product so far. We’re enjoying it. My dog plays with it but I try to supervise and stop him. Now he just enjoys watches it at least I think.

It’s the inexpensive one but works just fine. It runs around for awhile, then goes back to its charging station, ready to go for next time. Roomba brand is quality. Our second one, for upstairs so I don’t have to wag the other one around. Standard barrier work for all the Roombas.

Been running this vacuum for about 3 months now. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, especially at the sale price that was offered. It's a good vacuum to run daily for maintenance to keep down dust and pick up things that may have fell on the floor. Make sure you put away any cords like your phone chargers or they will get sucked up in the vacuum. Put away anything that could cause spillages like a dog water bowl that could get pushed by the vacuum. Pros: Easy to use. Does really well on bare floors. Cons: It's a bit loud so you will have to speak loudly if you're in the same area. The noise will be heard in the background if you're on the phone. Doesn't do that thorough a job on heavy duty rugs.

We had a Roomba that worked very well for over six years, and when it was finally time to replace it, we bought this one. This unit actually cost about half of what we paid for the last one six years ago. It works fantastic, even better than the one we had before which we really really enjoyed having. I read the reviews very carefully, and there were a few that said it was noisy, but we do not find that to be the case. Sure if you listen, you will hear it, but it does great cleaning work on our most hardwood and area rug flooring.

Play Video I decided to replace my old Roomba as it was beginning to have some parts that pieces were breaking off. I was excited to get this one and ordered it on Prime Day in October at the sale price. It was one of several robot vacuums in my wish list since I had done lots of research and gone through lots of reviews. I had tried a combo vacuum/mop unit before and it was awful, but it was a different brand and did worse than this thing. Right out of the box it would not connect to Wi-Fi or Alexa. I had to perform a factory reset to get it to connect. You do that by holding down all three buttons on the top, simultaneously, for about 10 seconds until you hear a series of sounds. You are then required to let it charge for best results, so I let it charge almost 24 hours. The app never would show the “Product Health”, even after using the vacuum. I would only get the notice in the screenshot shown. I did use the app to start the first vacuuming. I felt I was off to a good start as the robot began vacuuming in the grid pattern as shown in the ad. Once that pattern led it into my living room, things changed dramatically, for the worse. It should be noted that I do not have a bunch of clutter. I lost my fur baby soulmate, but still have not removed his bed (seen in the movie). There is really not a lot of difficult navigation. I included the movie because it was at the start of the vacuuming, and I was pleased with the low noise level. It was less noisy than my old one at least. Once in the living room, it got stuck under the chair. I got it unstuck and restarted it. It was not 45 seconds later, and it got stuck in the exact same place. It actually had to force its way into the location that it kept getting stuck in. I got it free and completely moved it to a different area. It wasn’t long and it returned, but this time I moved it again before it got stuck. Then it would go into an area by my dog’s bed and would just stay in that area, going to and fro as if stuck in a large box. It would spin, it would go backwards, it would go forwards, and it would spin some more. I thought perhaps it was due to the small AC/Heat vent in the floor, so I covered that vent with the dog’s bed. But this was to no avail. It was bound and determined to stay in that 3x3 feet area. I moved it again. It stayed in the room that it started in (adjacent to my living room where it kept getting stuck) for a few minutes and then came back into the living room. This was an hour and 14 minutes, it did less than 400 square feet of vacuuming, and I used the app to send it home to its base. It picked up some dirt (shown). I liked the size of the dirt bin and the ease of emptying it. The noise level and the size of the dirt bin were the only things I liked about this Roomba. I realize that it is on the cheaper end of the scale for a Roomba, but I expected more! I returned this vacuum. I will wait until Prime Days for Christmas and order something different, and probably not a Roomba!

This vacuum is very easy to set up & does a better job than I thought it would. We have an XL breed dog who makes it her life mission to shed all day every day & this little vacuum has no problem picking up all the fur, along with the 2 cats & 1 other dog that’s over quite often.

I am really impressed with this Roomba., we have a large basement with several rooms with hardwood floors and one with carpeting. I just opened the appropriate doors and off it went. Not at all noisy, the volume does increase depending on the setting. I have been running it at the medium setting and it cleans the whole area in one charge - roughly 1200 sq ft. It does take a little while but it is persistant, it will come back and hit an area that I thought it had missed, observing it closely, it covered the whole area. it goes up and down over areas that are 1/2" high with no trouble.... very pleased.

Good for daily use. Little noise. Need preparing the floor for it. Can move on carpets
