I got this for my mom who has arthritis and often finds it difficult to use lighters. Overall I'd say the battery life is great - it doesn't run out fast, even with periodic use. Charging is easy - simply plug and wait. It's SUPER easy to use - a simple button switch and push. I love how the lights show how much battery is left. I have never had a USB lighter before but from video's I've seen this seems to work as intended. I do think it takes longer than I'd like to light the wick but it's overall effective and certainly much much easier for arthritic hands. The only real issue I have is that my dog seems to be bothered by the noise it makes when on (it reminds me of a taser noise), so that's something to consider if you have pets.

I really like using this lighter since my arthritis makes it difficult to use a regular lighter. The length is perfect for lighting wicks that are set down a ways. It also works nicely on candles with multiple wicks... no more burned thumbs!

Got this for my husband to light our grill since the button on ours went out & lighting it with a regular lighter wasn’t safe. He was so surprised it functioned so well. The battery lasts a long time. No actual flame since it’s electric, but that’s a lot safer. I love the sleek look of this lighter.

It doesn’t work on incense and it seems kind of tedious for candles too. Not a fan. But I suppose if you’re in the market for one of these, this one works 🤷🏽‍♀️

New update: I don't light candles nearly as often anymore, so it makes sense that the battery isn't as strong/long lasting. But I used it recently to singe some fabric to make a clean edge, and I was able to fully charge it easily and use it for a few minutes straight. Still very impressed with this product Update: it's been 2 years and it's still going strong! I maybe have to charge it every 6 months, but I'm actually not sure because I have to do it so rarely. Would highly recommend! I had been meaning to cut out lighters from my life, as I never liked disposing of them after they died. So I got this one for under $7 and it's been great! I only use it for candles, and the bendable head helps reach deeper candles. I like that it has a power switch as well as an on button you have to keep pressing, making accidental lighting basically impossible. It auto shuts off after 10 seconds or so. Mine came with 3 bars and has stayed at that for almost two months with fairly regular use, so the battery is really good on this. One slight iffy thing is if you light a wood wick candle or don't trim a string wick, sometimes the blacked parts end up stuck to the sides of the arc/flame part. I just wait like 10 seconds after it shuts off and wipe it with a tissue, comes off easily.

Nothing wrong with the quality of product but the color shown was pink which I selected but the delivered product is grey which a bit disappointed me

I used similar one around 2 years and I liked it because of its rechargeable and continuous flame is easy to use
