I’ve recently added the Mixoon Bean Essence to my skincare routine, and I’m really impressed! The texture is super light and refreshing—it feels like it’s quenching my skin’s thirst. It’s not sticky at all, so it’s perfect for layering with other products without feeling heavy. Since I started using it, my skin has felt more hydrated, and I’ve noticed a subtle radiance. The bean extract seems to really calm and balance my complexion, especially on days when my skin feels a bit more sensitive. Overall, it’s a really lovely essence if you’re looking for something gentle yet effective!

I prefer using this as an exfoliant. I rub a dime-sized amount on my face in circular motions, starting with my cheeks and the sides of my face. Then, I move on to my forehead, chin, and nose area separately. I keep rubbing until the product tugs on my skin, and I can feel the dead skin cells forming into tiny, dirty balls. Once I no longer feel any dead skin cells, I gently rub my face to make the balls of skin fall into the sink. Afterward, I tone my face using a mixture of a glycolic AHA toner and some of Mixsoon essences on a cotton round. I wipe until my face feels smooth. I swear, the texture of my skin feels like a baby’s bottom every time I use this product as an exfoliant. I’m thinking it’s super smooth because I paired it with an aha toner & Mixsoon essences (Galactomyces, Bifida, & Centella Asiatica). I’ve tried using it under my moisturizer, but I don’t think it mixes well with a beef tallow waterless moisturizer. I highly recommend this as a gentle exfoliant. I’m not sure how often you should use it, but I aim for 2–3 times a week when my face starts to feel rough.

This serum has been the perfect addition to my skin care routine. I love how glowy and glass like it makes my skin. Not really sticky and absorbs into true skin nicely.

I decided to try this essence after hearing positive reviews online. Previously, I was using a different essence that seemed to be causing breakouts on my chin, so I was looking for something gentler. After using this for a few days, I noticed a visible improvement in the breakouts on my chin. The texture of the essence is thicker and a bit sticky compared to what I was used to, but it absorbs well into the skin and the stickiness fades quickly. I have combination skin, so this product worked well for my oilier t-zone and cheeks. I haven't noticed significant exfoliation, but it seems to help with keeping my skin balanced. A little goes a long way with this product, and although it is priced a little higher, I feel it’s worth it. I would definitely consider purchasing this again.

So I bought this after reviewing so many good reviews but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. This is the only thing that I changed in my skin care routine. I used it with moisturizer and then without moisturizer but both times I got white little bumps, feels like very tiny whiteheads all over my cheeks and chin. So I just stopped using it. I have a very dry skin. But I’m sure it’s just my skin may be it’s working for others.

I bought this (on sale, thank goodness), because I had heard so much about it. I think of an essence as being more of a liquid and not sticky. This feels goopy and is unlike any essence I have ever tried. And I have also tried the other way you can use this--the exfoliation way. I did not notice any difference at all. I used a quarter of the bottle before I gave up. I have a toner from mixsoon that I have no issues with. This essence makes no sense. Which is too bad. Because now I am scared to buy any other essences from this brand.

I absolutely loved the Mixsoon Bean Essence. It’s perfect for dry skin, providing deep hydration. It works as an exfoliator, so it's a 2-in-1, but I've been using it as a serum, and it complements my cleansing oil from ma:nyo, which cleans my face well.
