Build Quality and features are so nice no need to keep eye on water level, no need to clean the mop it does everything by it self. you can clean your home at specific time and specific area with your finger tips It's much quieter than the other units and because of its lidar vision and ability to detect obstacles instead of thumping into them like my previous Neato, (named Thumper, for obvious reasons) it allows me to schedule cleaning during the night. Navigation is far superior and does a good job of mapping your house without bumping into chair legs and baseboards. The app is intuitive and easy to use, plus it provides great flexibility when doing room or spot cleanings as needed. I'm very, very pleased with this vac mop! One thing to mention, though.... The base unit takes up a lot of space. Pay attention to the measurements and make sure you have a suitable location for the base. Suction is excellent and the entire vacuum and base are sturdy and well made. No flimsy plastic parts to break or lose.

Let me start by saying I've owned many robot vacuums beginning with an early release Roomba, advanced capability Roombas, two Neato D6 units, and now this Roborock unit. Each has been a newer iteration of the previous unit with additional capabilities. However, the leap in functionality, ease of use, intelligence, and the mopping feature, puts this Roborock unit leaps and bounds above anything I've owned before. It has been 3 months since we have been using this vacuum and all I can say is that it works flawlessly. The suction is great and it mops very well. It does leave drops of water on the floor once in a while but usually they dry up in a few minutes. Nothing egregious. Most importantly, the software is one of the best. While the device specs matter, I think it is software that makes the experience complete. This vac comes with a great app that doesn’t glitch and is very intuitive to use. For sub $500, I find this vacuum to be of great value.

Roborock Qrevo S review Here is my honest opinion. Just a regular home owner, passing on the good and bad, as I personally really appreciate people taking time to post a thorough review when I’m trying to decide which to buy, especially for something that isn’t inexpensive. I would give this a 4.5 if that were an option. It is almost perfect, especially at it’s price point. The only single complaint I have is the vacuum part doesn’t quite get all the dirt. To be fair, we have 4 dogs and a cat, who all have access to a dog door that leads into the main portion of our house, AND we live on a dirt road, so we probably have a lot more small particles to pick up than the average household. The only reason I even have the expectation that a robot vacuum should be able to handle that much dirt is that I have a now 7 year old roomba 960 (one of their 2nd or 3rd generation, basic robots) that will pick up every grain of dirt, even along the edges, so I know it’s possible. That one decided it could no longer navigate my whole house every night, which is how we use our main robot vacuum, so it got to retire to just our bedroom during the day, and still does the same excellent job getting up dirt, as long as I keep the rollers and side brush replaced as needed. No roomba I have tried since then has been as capable and Roomba doesn’t use the lidar navigation, which is why we’ve branched out as we like to vacuum while we are sleeping. So, back to this Roborock Qrevo S. The two main negatives in the reviews, you tube videos, etc was that it doesn’t do edge mopping and it’s obstacle avoidance isn’t the best. This is well documented so I wouldn’t take any points off for that, since I knew that going in. I’m careful to keep cords, toys, and other things picked up, none of my animals use the bathroom in the house, and I like to scrub my baseboards occasionally and can easily wipe along the edges of the floors then. So, for me, this was an acceptable compromise for the price point. However, after using this thing, vacuum and mop, once or twice per day for four days, and still feeling grit on the floor immediately after it has completed a whole house run, on the highest suction settings, set to vacuum each room two times, I’ve decided to send it back. I feel like I gave it a good chance to prove what it can do. I originally wanted to try it over more time, since I still have two months to send it back. Considering I had vacuumed the whole house the evening before I set this thing up, had deep cleaned under and behind all the furniture for Thanksgiving guests, and had done a very thorough manual mopping 5 days before, (with a grout brush and a regular industrial mop, rinsing each area until the “dirty” water was clear), I think after approximately 6 runs over 4 days, it was probably at the top of it’s capabilities for our home. I would rather go ahead, clean it up, and send it back before it is harder to clean and maybe wouldn’t look as new, so someone else can receive a “used” vacuum in good condition and be happy to have it. I am upgrading from another robot vacuum that ran every single night as well, so our floors just aren’t THAT dirty. As you can tell, I am very picky about cleanliness, lol!! Okay, now for the good points. The app was very easy to set up, even for a not so tech savvy user such as myself. I did have to google one thing that I didn’t see in the user manual or quick start guide, but the answer was easy to find. (FYI: I’d wanted to know how to delete a routine once you’d created it. You just had to close the app and reopen it. It then gave an option to delete.) The mopping is really, really good. First, the dirty water was dirty, so obviously the mop is getting up something. Second, there were some spots in the kitchen of various dried liquids from all the cooking over Thanksgiving that I purposely left to see how this thing would do. It took several moppings but it got all of that up. Then, the whole rinsing the mop pads every 15 minutes, as well as rinsing and then drying them at the end, have the mop pads completely clean and dry so no yucky smells and no need to change out mop pads daily such as with older models. Another thing, despite that my house obviously has literal dirt on the floor, the on board dirt/dust bin is perfectly clean inside and the dust bag in the base definitely has dirt, fur, dust, etc in it. I feel like over time this feature would certainly help the filter stay cleaner, which in turn, as we all know, will allow the suction to remain stronger. One random thing to note: There was never any fur in the dirty mop water or left on the mop pads, or the cleaning tray under the mop pads. There is fur in the dirt collection bag. There was, however, dirt in the dirty water and also fine dirt in the mop cleaning tray. I would say this is a good indication that the vacuum was picking up all the fur and larger dirt particles, but incapable of suctioning up the finer dirt. Our house is 1300 square feet. Set at medium water usage for the hardwoods (half of the house), max water usage on the rest of the house, going back to rinse the mop pads every 15 minutes, AND doing each room twice, the water bins would last through two full house routines. You probably wouldn’t want the dirty water to sit for more than two or three days anyway, so I’d say that was pretty good. Another HUGE plus is how quiet this thing is. It dried pads for 3 hours after each run but you could barely hear it, unless you got close and focused on it. Emptying the on board dust bin into the larger bag in the base makes some noise but significantly less than our previous robot vacuum. My cat says thank you for that! I cannot comment on carpet or rugs because I don’t have carpet or area rugs and pick up the throw rugs every evening so the vacuum can vacuum under them. I’ve done that for years, so nothing to do with this particular vacuum. Anyway, overall, I think this is still an excellent vacuum for it’s price and in a home with a little less outside dirt, it would be perfect. I hope this review is helpful in your quest for the perfect robot vacuum for your situation!

I have had this for a few weeks now. I have a dog and a cat. And I bought this because of the amount of fur. Setting it up was super simple. I used tha app and it walks you through the steps. It mapped all the rooms. Once everything was mapped, I labeled each room, set up the type of flooring and blocked off any areas I did not want vacuumed. Then of course I had to play with it. It's relatively quiet. I am still able to make calls and be in Zoom meetings while it runs in the same room. The loudest part is when it extracts the dirt into the larger back. But it really cleans that dirt cup out. Through the app, I was able to lower the voice settings so that was nice. I have it mop the tile areas once a week. I can see each tile surface is wet so it doesn't miss a thing. It washes and dries the mop heads so there is never an odor. Even the clean and dirty water containers are easy to get to. Overall, I have no negatives about this product. I still get a kick ott of watching it work. I wish I got one years ago. It's a great product.

Play Video Received the Roborock Qrevo S and just finished the first run, very quiet and efficient. Unboxing experience is generally intuitive. To connect the station to the power source, on the clean station side it is a bit tricky. You need to wrangle the wire following the pattern on the back to form a loop, otherwise it is hard to directly insert the plug. The robot comes with around 40% of power, and upon connection established, it immediately starts to scan the room and map out the entire floor. The route planning is quite intuitive as it divides the home into several rectangular areas, follow the perimeter then do the zig-zag style of cleaning. It vacuums when detects the carpet, and mops when detects the hardwood flooring & tiles. Around 20 minutes it goes back to the clean station to wash the mop and then continue working.
