The dock even cleans itself too · Self-Refilling and Self-Emptying. The Empty Wash Fill Dock automatically refills the S7 MaxV water tank when it docks, extending its mopping range to up to 3230 sqft (300 sqm). An additional light turns on in dark rooms, making obstacle recognition as effective at night as during the day. 3D structured light systems supplement the RGB camera and can spot unknown objects, determine their size and location, and allow the robot to navigate around them · Next-Level Intelligence. Using its camera, S7 MaxV can now recognize the furniture in your home and place them on the map automatically. It can also identify your floors in each room and recommend cleaning patterns and scrub intensity accordingly · The Most Powerful Roborock Robot Vacuum Ever. S7 MaxV has more suction power than any previous Roborock robot vacuum, generating a maximum of 5100 Pa. That’s more than double the power of S6 MaxV. I hate vacuuming. Always have. Unfortunately, in the division of chores in our house, it became my responsibility. So a few years back I got a robot vacuum for xmas, but it was a cheaper one, and it was kinda "meh." Can't remember the brand. It did inspire me to buy a Roborock S4, though, which I loved. Unfortunately, after one too many of my son's charging cords got run over, my S4 finally died around Thanksgiving 2022. Technically, I could have bought replacement parts, but whatever. This was my excuse to upgrade. I did my homework (thank you Vacuum Wars) and opted to stay with the Roborock brand. The S7 Vmax Ultra is way better than I could have hoped! I love the Roborock app. It's easy to use, including setup. I really liked the quick mapping feature on the S7. It allowed me to map the house and set up the rooms and barriers/no-go zones quickly. I thought the automatic division of rooms was so-so, I think I ended up redividing them all manually. With the S7, I am using the scheduling feature to ensure that it runs regularly, as opposed to manually starting the cleaning like I did with the S4. I did not think I'd like the automatic dustbin emptying as much as I do. With my S4, it always felt good seeing the amount of dirt collected when I ran it. However, as my wife pointed out, that always led to a dust cloud on top of the trash can when you threw anything else away, which we don't have now since the S7 dust is all contained in a disposable bag. I did a few unofficial tests with the mop on my kitchen floor. My overall impression is that it is a pretty decent mop. I used to Swiffer it like once a month or so, but now I just let my Roborock do the job on Saturdays while we are out of the house. So that was an unexpected win! We are actually going to remove the carpet in most of the downstairs next year (right now my dining room is carpeted...terrible choice if you ask me), so having the mop for our new flooring will turn out to be really nice. One unexpected byproduct of owning a robot vacuum is it's helped train our son to pick up his toys. When we got the S4, he was fascinated by it, so it was easy to tell him, "Pick up your toys so we can run Rob!" After a while it became a habit which has more or less stuck, although I usually do a visual sweep of the house before I leave for work on the days our S7 runs just to be sure. I guess that's a possible drawback of the bag system, there's no finding any little toys or whatever that get vacuumed up. Luckily, he's old enough now that it's not really an issue. So I guess I've prattled on long enough about all the stuff I love about this machine, so it's time do discuss the negatives, as there are a few. Number one is with the auto scheduling feature, it is lacking in a "skip the next scheduled cleaning" button. Recently my wife was home sick for a day, and I had to go in and manually remove Tuesday from the list of days it was scheduled to run as I didn't want to disturb her if she was asleep on the couch. The automatic dustbin emptying feature is LOUD for like 30 seconds. Not really a complaint, just was unexpected. So a "skip cleaning" button would be nice. Next, while the bag system has it's merits, I really do hate buying something just to throw it away. Having a dumpable bin would be a nice option. Also, it would let you see if anything of value was sucked up. I haven't bought any bags (or other replacement parts) yet, but I'm guessing they aren't super cheap. Next, the obstacle avoidance feature is supposed to identify and avoid stuff left on the floor, but I'm unimpressed. I did a test, and it ran smack into a pair of slippers as well as a belt lying in the middle of the room. Also, it wrapped up a charger cord that had fallen off the table. No damage done, but it did stop the vacuuming that day. Pretty small complaint list, if you ask me. This machine is pricey, don't get me wrong. I did save like $400 by getting a black friday deal, but it's still a lot of money for a vacuum. However, the benefits are very much worth the cost if you can swing it. Our house is so much cleaner than it has ever been. When the morning sun shone in the windows, you used to just SEE the dust floating in the air. That is no longer the case, or at least not nearly as bad. Our allergies are not nearly as bothered as they used to be. Once it's set up, you can mostly forget about it. One improvement I forgot to mention is that I like the brush better on the S7 than the one on the S4. It doesn't have bristles, just rubber fins that seem to do just as good of a job without constantly needing the lint cleaned out of them. My wife has long hair, so be aware that you will still need to clean that off of the brush regularly. I do it once a week using a seam ripper I purchased from a fabric store, as the S7 does not include one like the S4 did. So if you are still reading, thanks! I've really enjoyed writing this review. I can't say enough good things about this machine. While it is not perfect, it has taken a chore that I absolutely hated and never did frequently enough and turned it into a job that takes like 10 minutes of effort a week, and minimal effort at that. For anyone wondering, I've been using my S7 for 3 months as of now. Our downstairs is approximately 900 square feet, with about 2/3 of that being carpet. The remainder is a mix of tile and LVT. It has a multi-level function which I used on the S4, but haven't set up yet on this one. Eventually I will do the upstairs and basement as well since it can store multiple maps for different levels of the house. I run the vacuum 3 days during the week and a vacuum/mop cycle once on the weekend. Sometimes I run it more just cause I can. I like to tell people "I think I'm going to vacuum my house now" while we're out doing something, and then show them the app and start a cycle. I know, I'm a nerd. But my house is clean!

This is my third Roborock robot vacuum, and I couldn’t be more excited about the Roborock Qrevo Master! Roborock has always impressed me with its quality and performance. The obstacle avoidance feature is top-notch, and the design keeps getting better. My first Roborock lasted an incredible four years, and my second one worked well but didn’t have a base station. Having to wash the mop pads and empty the dustbin after every use was a bit of a hassle. This time, with the price drop, I decided to upgrade, and it’s the best decision I’ve made. The Qrevo Master makes cleaning completely effortless. The base station automatically handles dust collection and mop cleaning, saving me so much time. It truly frees my hands and keeps my home spotless. If you’re on the fence, don’t wait—buy it now! The sooner you get one, the sooner you’ll enjoy the convenience.

Bought it a month back and I like everything I have seen so far. The positives: * Does not bump into furniture and obstacles, finds a way around it. * Mapping is accurate and very easy to configure * Predictable cleaning pattern and does the job * Ease of use, no babysitting required, can be used frequently with minimal prep * The adjustable brush and mop is a game changer * Love the live video feed * Easy setup including WiFi pairing Onto my third robo-vac and a learning, like mobile phones and laptops there is price barrier. For robo-vacs I think its $700 or thereabouts. Anything below works but the comprises can get untenable. As for this one, the only question in my mind, how long will it perform at this level. Guess time will tell.

Let me first say that I am a very patient and tolerant individual. My background and quality assurance and engineering is my forte. Unfortunately, I was hoodwinked into purchasing what I thought would be a superior product and at the time they were offering their max seven ultra flagship unit, being a conscientious consumer, I researched and found at that juncture. There was no issues that needed to be addressed as far as the product quality was concerned. however, within a approximately a year of use, and by the way, this would be classified as a durable good product based on the $1700 price tag that I initially purchased the unit for some small discounts. Here’s the issue within a year I noticed that the, dustbin feature was not thoroughly empty after returning to the home dock. Therefore, I began to monitor. It’s behavior to make sure that there was no physical issues such as obstructions in the docking systems ability to purge the robotics dustbin. After multiple testing and documentation, I came to realize that this was a malfunctioning issue in this particular high end unit. Therefore, I contacted Rob customer service which, they seem to show concern and recommended that I send it to their Texas facility for analysis. So far there is no issue or concern on my part, given the fact that it had just gone out of warranty and they were willing to pick up the tab to have it analyzed and the problem rectified. Here’s where it really gets completely completely off the rails: First, the so-called technical department which you cannot contact by human connectivity, texted me and said the unit was serviced and would be returned within a reasonable amount of time. Second, the unit arrived in a box labeled refurbished on its exterior, giving me the impression that the unit was ready to be deployed without issues. Third, when I open the box to reveal my alleged fully functional expensive unit, the repair facility had haphazardly and carelessly and negligently thrown the unit with very little professional packaging back in the box damaging the docking system due to the fact that the robotic system was not properly packaged and protected against impact and chafing. That said I removed the unit to perform when I have done multiple times, which is known as integrity test to make sure that the unit was properly serviced, and fully functional. Four, I proceeded to set up my mock up scenario starting with the lightest material I could utilize to do an op Check on the dustbin functionality to make sure that it cleaned out of the dustbin thoroughly. The medium I used was feather – light diamond cut paper shreds to make sure and verify that the job was completed at the service department. This is the outcome of the initial out of box test and verification; 1. After the unit cycled through, it’s cleaning and purging of the dustbin. I inspected same and found that none of the test material had been thoroughly deposited in the filter bag. 2. To make sure that I did not miss any of the set up. I redo the unit in the Bhse station and ran multiple test utilizing the same lightweight material and without fail it did not function properly as designed. 3. I called customer service to voice my frustration and dissatisfaction with their service department and lack of professionalism by not properly repairing and packaging the unit before sending it back to me. Customer service uploaded it to their alleged service department team, and I waited for a response. 4. The response did come back within a reasonable amount of time and given the fact that these are all canned responses they want him to go through hoops of fire to check the unit from top to bottom to make sure there were no obstructions. You can see where I’m going on this one, this is all bought generated because I had already done that on the initial inspection to make sure that there was no issues that I had overlooked. 5. this gets further and further down the rabbit hole, so I won’t take up much more of the time that I’ve taken already, but this is just a caution anyone who has done any consideration on purchasing this product will be sorely disappointed! I have sent the unit back, which is just more waste of my time and expense to travel to the local UPS drop off. 6. furthermore to add insult to injury is instead of the Rob company realizing that they need to restructure from the ground up they blocked my number as they did many many more people and you’ll find that on the Internet so you don’t have to take my word for it. Just go to trust pilot and type in the search field Roborock and watch the number of customers who are infuriated with this company. I can’t stress more the risk that ONE is taking making any purchase whatsoever based on this company‘s lack of consideration and support for their consumers that have purchased a very expensive ticket item. There are many of those units out there that are not this particular product and I would urge you to look at those and check their service department to make sure if you have any issues and they’ve got your back.

This product is a game changer. I work a very busy schedule and have 3 large german sherphards that shed. This robo vac/mop is keeping my home looking so much cleaner . Everyday the floor gets a little shinier...no more dust in cracks and corners. Yes, hands scrubbing would do a better job but takes hours and I am not going to hand scrub twice daily. The consistent cleaning is producing a sparkly shining house. Purchasing the recommended cleaner has resulted in absolutely no odor in dirty waterbin or on mops ( self cleans and dries mop) Make sure you do a quick look around before bed that doors are open and large clutter is not left on floor ( socks will shut it down and keep it from finishing its overnight work).Highly recommend!!!!!!!

We love this product. It keeps the floors (hardwood and tile) sparkling clean. There are multiple modes for vacuum and mop that allows you to not just select one or the other but also customize intensity of each. It can store maps for upto 3 levels and is smart enough to identify different rooms. The app allows you to further divide each room if you need to. Changing the clean and dirty water is a breeze and depending on how much solid particles are on the floor, the vacuum bag lasts a really long time. We have a very hairy dog who sheds in the summer months. Previously we had to vacuum the house 2-3 times a day... but now we have the roborock scheduled to clean at regular intervals and mop when we are sleeping. This keeps the house as clean as when the floors were first installed. Also keeps other surfaces clean because there isn't much dust that gets stirred and flies around from the floor. The intelligent obstacle avoidance is definitely a blessing because of random items such as toys that might get left around when the cleaning schedule starts.

This is the worst purchase I've ever made, I've been using for two months and in a already very clean house, i never use it to remove a mess or something. Robot is just... almost useless, it definitely doesn't belong to that price category robots. The navigation system is ok, but the vacuum power, the mopping is horrible, leaves circles on rather floor and doesn't not remove ANYTHING from the flood, it's basically just a stupid thing making a lot of noise and putting a little bit of water on your floor, mess it up and leave it... and I'm not even going to talk about carpets, that's beyond ridiculous ! Anyways DON'T BUY THIS ROBOT, please save your money.
