I've been using robot vacuums for many years, but this is my first time trying Roborock. My wife and I decided to switch from iRobot to Roborock for a couple of reasons: 1) we've heard great things about its intelligence and build quality in the past; 2) we needed a robot vacuum that can mop and self-clean. While the price was higher, we decided to give it a try and ended up buying two different models—one for each floor of our home. Here are the things which this S8 MaxV Ultra has impressed me so far: 1. App Setup: The app is very well-designed and easy to use. Setting up the vacuum was a breeze, and I can easily share the devices with my wife, so she has access to all the same information. 2. Mapping: I recommend letting the vacuum perform a quick mapping first rather than starting with a full cleaning. The map it creates is very smart and accurate. I can even set "no-go" zones for areas I don’t want it to clean, which works perfectly. 3. Self-Cleaning Mop: The vacuum automatically wets, cleans, and dries the mop. All I need to do is refill the clean water, add detergent if needed, and empty the dirty water. It saves me a lot of time. 4. Cleaning Track in the App: The app shows the cleaning path and time, giving me a good overview of how the job is progressing and helping me plan for next time. 5. Remote Control: I can control the vacuum remotely, which is great because cleaning normally takes over an hour. I prefer letting it work while I'm away, rather than having it run around when I'm home. 6. Suction Power: I haven’t used the highest suction setting, as my floors are wood and tile, and medium power is sufficient. As I mentioned, mopping is my main priority. So far, I'm really impressed with this product and love how it’s making my cleaning routine easier.

I’ve had this vacuum for 1 month and very happy of the purchase. The robot was about the easily map my house and get to work quickly. The experience was seamless. The iPhone app is well done which is a super important part of the product. It allows you to do everything you might think a vacuum robot should do and more, like the ability to remote control the robot. Actually can be handy for a variety of reasons including when the robot is stuck and you are away. The only thing I would like to see improved with the app is the ability to change of cleaning plan while the robot has already started, small detail. The robot is packed with features including auto detection of objects on the ground to avoid, and will automatically avoid area where it knows it can get stuck (like cords spots). It also detects furnitures. You can adjust how close the robot with vacuum next to baseboards and furniture in case you want to make sure nothing gets damaged. Most of the time the vacuum work is spotless. I am no expert of vacuum performance but both the suction and mopping features work well. The use water is also super dirty so you can see it’s doing its job. It’s also able to go up gentle slopes and very small steps (floor gaps). Which was a requirement for me as my house has a bunch of add-ons that are not leveled. There is really nothing to dislike about this vacuum, well done.

I also love the intelligent app control, which allows me to schedule cleans and monitor progress from anywhere. The S8 Max V is quiet, efficient, and incredibly thorough—truly a must-have for anyone looking for a hassle-free cleaning experience. Highly recommend!

It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. With two dogs and what they shed and track in, this keeps the floors clear of the detritus of everyday living. I love the damp mopping feature. It doesn’t do a deep mopping, obviously, but it keeps a clean floor clean. It’s not going to get up get dried-on gunk, even with the features that detect high grime areas. But it does a great job keeping small spills or footprints and dust at bay. Every feature of this machine works as advertised. I’ve used it daily for several months now, and it empties perfectly unless it has picked up something that doesn’t easily get in or out ( think plastic bread tags or dryer sheets), it washes and dries the mop pad ( periodically even during its cleaning cycle). It is pretty quiet even in mega suction mode. The battery charge discharges to between 40 and 50 %, doing about 400 sqft at its maximum suction and double pass cleaning. With the cam and remote control, find stuff that rolled under the sofa easily! Locate your pets from the office using the phone app! It will not work with 5G wireless routers, so you need to be sure you have the 2.4 standard. So far, after several months of daily use, I cannot think of any major issues. It handles floor and carpet easily, knows when it is on a carpet and suspends mopping. It even handles my bathroom throw rugs. It’s the best robot cleaner I’ve owned, and I’ve had them for a while! It’s pricey but all the features make it totally worth it. As with any robot cleaner, it can get tangled up and jammed (think phone charging cords or random coke bottle caps, or your knitting…) so some diligence is needed in picking up/hiding possible obstacles. When it jams, it suspends the routine and eventually goes to sleep to save battery. If you’re not around to unjam it, just send it back to the dock to charge and clean the jam later. It will notify you if anything is amiss, such as jamming, getting trapped (rare) or running low in the water tank, or full dirty water tank that needs emptied. It also keeps tabs on replaceable parts and lets you know about when you should swap them out for new ones. It does NOT notify you when the vacuum bag is full, so be sure to check it and the on-board filter and dust bin regularly. Bottom line, do it! It will make your life easier and cleaner! Quality performance and product.

جميلة جدا وعملية بشكل لايوصف تكنس بقووة حتى الشعر مايبقى بعدها وكذلك مسحها قوي صحيح اذا فيه شي قوي وناشف مو بسهوله تنظفه بس عموما البيت بعدها يللللق مرات وهي راجعة منصه الشحن ينزل منها شوي غبار بس مايأثر

It does everything itself: empties the dustbin, washes the mop, dries the mop, washes the platform under the mop. Amazing device for the laziest people. The only problem is lack of original accessories available on Amazon in UAE.

بعد الحصول علي مراجعات جيدة للمنتج علي المواقع الاجنبية قررت اشتريه المنتج لم يعمل اكثر من ٣ اسابيع و خربت القاعدة حقته و لم تعد تعمل و بالتالي الروبوت فصل شحنه و اصبح المنتج بلا فايدة هذا كان بعدتجربة افضل حالا مع s7 max ultra الذي عمل معنا لمدة،٧ اشهر و بعدها قرر الروبوت عدم العمل نتيجة انه يعتقد ان هناك شي محشور في عجلاته. خدمة عملائهم فقط موجودة عن طريق البريد الالكتروني ! بالمرتين خدمة العملاء كانت بلا فايدة حيث المرة الاولي اعطونا بعض الخطوات نجربها و لم تنجح و بعدها قالوا لي ارجع للبائع ! من حسن الحظ انا امازون تفهموا و قبلوا الارجاع للمنتجات لن اشتري منتجات روبوروك مرة اخري ابدا

I keep facing an error every single month and the hair keep accumulating in the vacuum roller. I keep on resetting it and facing a lot of errors not the best so far.
